I appreciate this spotlight on such a conscientious company. Now that I know, I will certainly be more apt to by their product because these practices make a difference, and I vote with my dollars! Who else can you tell us about?

I love hearing about the process behind the products that are available for purchase at Whole Foods. I recently discovered greek yogurt but didn't realize that there was an organic, sustainable product out there so this is fantastic news!! Thank you to all those involved with Eros (and the cows too):)

In a time when so many companies are looking at ways to cut costs, it is nice to learn about a company like yours that takes pride in producing an organic Greek Yogurt in a way that not only treats employees fairly, but takes measures to conserve on energy, invest in two acres of solar panels to fuel the plant and commit to one dairy that cares for their cows well. I applaude both the creamery as well as their dairy producer for their efforts. We all need to start thinking in eco-friendly terms and making steps in this direction.

How refresing it is for companies to step forward and lead the way. I wish our major US corporations would also step forward instead of having the federal government drag them each baby step.

This sounds like a great product. I will gladly try some next time I am in Whole Foods. I am hoping that this is a full fat yogurt. It is almost impossible to find Greek style yogurt which is. Yogurt should be kept as a whole food, that is not separated from the naturally occurring fat because it contains enzymes which help to break the food down. Fat is actually good for you in moderation.

It is so great to see a company using solar power to produce an organic yogurt that one could feel good about feeding to their families.

It really seems like they are serious about going green. I love hearing that their creamery is 100% solar powered. More companies should do this. Great job Eros! And thanks for supporting companies like this Whole Foods.

Eros Greek Yogurt's container has a little angel printed on it. That is a fitting symbol for the merchandise that it represents. How wonderful that the creator of Eros is an angel, as well as the dairy farmers! The end product has been heavenly made!

Eros sets a great example of a model that is sustainable, and yet profitable, demonstrating that you do not have to sacrifice profitability for environmental and social responsibility.

It's great to have these family farms as part of the Whole Foods suppliers. For the consumer to know first-hand where the products they buy and eat come from, is essential, in today's market where we hear news about numerous contaminated products produced by huge commercial farms. The other facts that Eros makers are Eco-energy conscious and treat their cows humanely is a another plus.

By using solar power they are modeling wise behavior in our current times. Not only does this appear to be a modern and cost effective business choice to use solar power; it is also one that hopefully enriches the local environment and business community by generating new power sources while at the same time hiring local solar workers to put in panels and thus creating more jobs. If the quality of their product matches their community integrity then this a product one can feel good purchasing and enjoying.

I like the fact that they are using solar power and a local milk producer. I wonder if the cows are pasture raised. I am looking forward to trying their yogurt. I like to support organic farmers and am impressed with their concern for energy use.

I am struck by the love put into the entire dairy operation from the healthy animals to the care for the environment and the smiling dairyman. As "Eros" is the god of love, this seems a match made in heaven.

I think its really important for businesses to take responsibility for the enormous waste that they create id glad to see that some companies are finally stepping up. It only takes one person or business to start a revolution =D
