I like to make extra grilled thin french bread toasted with a little olive oil. When cooled top with any spreadable herb cheese and top with roasted red pepper strips and kalamata olives. Wrapped in foil the bread stays crunchy and then top as you go. Any leftover bread can be made into croutons

our family favorite healthy snack is a fruit smoothie! Add some water, lots of kale and spinach mixed into blender with fresh or frozen blueberries, pineapple, and some fresh banana and boy do you have an energy boost with 2 fresh servings of leafy greens and lots of yummy fruit! Chia seeds add some texture and some crunch and help fend off hunger.

I like to make homemade baked granola and then mix plain yogurt. Sometimes I add fresh fruit or dried fruit depending on the season, sprinkle some chopped nuts and drizzle a little honey or agave syrup.
