My kids LOVE yogurt parfaits after school. Stir together a little 365 Organic Vanilla Non-Fat Yogurt and any non-fat plain greek yogurt, mix well. Sprinkle with half a sliced banana (or any fresh fruit that's in season, or even thawed unsweetened frozen fruit) and the French Vanilla Granola you find in the bulk bins. It's so filling they don't eat again until dinner. Plus I can control the sugar, unlike those fast-food parfaits!

I love "ants" on a log. One piece of celery, add peanut butter with chopped nuts across the center, and then raisins on the top. If I need just a "taste" of chocolate I will substitute chocolate chips instead of raisins.

I love a small banana or half of a large banana rolled in mini semisweet chocolate chips. Packs protein for energy plus you get a little chocolate fix for sweet tooth and its something like 120 calories :)

I love to make a strawberry smoothie with equal amounts of almond milk, frozen strawberries, and stir in chocolate chips at the end. Sometimes we make it thick with less milk and eat it with a spoon, like ice cream. You can also add different fruits to your liking.

My 2 little girls love yogurt. I always buy them the Stonyfield organic yogurt cups. So one day we were out of the little yogurt cups and I only had some plain yogurt in the fridge and a few frozen blueberries in the freezer. I mixed them together and added a little honey to sweeten the yogurt. Then sprinkled some granola on top. Voila! I just invented my kids new favorite snack. They absolutely Love it.

Our family enjoys this quick and easy treat. We combine frozen organic strawberries, a ripe bannana and 100% pineapple juice in a blender and blend on high until smooth. This fruit smoothie can be enjoyed immediately or can be poured into popsicle molds and frozen.

I love to slice those wonderful tomatoes about 1/2 in thick and sprinkle them with parmesan cheese and toast them in the toaster oven on broil until the cheese starts to brown slightly. YUM!

I absolutely love putting reduced balsamic dressing on cooked ravioli with a little garlic/parsley seasoning and eating it cold the next day. I first found reduced balsamic at Whole Foods before anyone else carried it!

My favorite healthy snack is something equal parts healthy and traditional--yogurt topped with fruit and something crunchy, like crushed up cookies or granola.

My kids not only need to bring a snack to school, but they are always STARVING when they come home. We are all about creative snacks. One of my go-to snacks because it's filling but easy to pack is a cereal / nut / raisin mixture. I mix up a big bag of peanut butter puffs, Cheerios, plus add in some pretzels, almonds, raisins, and maybe a few M&Ms if I have it. This was a great treat for pool this summer, and will be perfect to enjoy after school.

I keep a glass jar with a small handled cup(approximately 1/4 cup) in the jar on the kitchen counter with raw almonds. Whenever coming in the kitchen after school, work, exercise, etc., it is the quickest healthy snack. Raw almonds are great!
