I take a corn tortilla and add chick peas, some daiya shreds and heat. I top it off with mixed greens and drizzle with some dressing. MMMmmmmm.

I love combining leftovers in new and creative ways to minimize waste and encourage creativity. Today we'll have cold leftover apple cinnamon whole wheat pancakes with a big scoop of Nancy's Organic Cultured Cottage Cheese. It's a great pairing of carbs and protein and tastes great, too.

It's not portable, but my favorite snack is to blend a banana, frozen strawberries, raw cacao powder & nibs, and a few dried cherries and create a treat that is more satisfying than chocolate ice cream and makes me feel great too. Seriously... try it, it's amazing.

An egg wrap (whole wheat tortilla with a flat egg, cheese, & spinach -tomatoes, onions, etc all wrapped up). Makes a great breakfast on the go or an easy lunch/dinner. We are also big fans of raw fruits and veggies.

Chocolate chia pudding! Mix some almond milk, cocoa powder, sweetener of choice, and chia seeds in a container and refrigerate while at school. When you get home, add some chopped fruit and nuts/nut butter and you have a delicious, power-packed pudding to keep the brain chugging!

My kids and I are into Greek yogurt parfaits. We layer yogurt with fresh berries and granola in a parfait glass and then drizzle some honey on top and a sprinkle of cinnamon. It's healthy and it makes my kids feel like they're getting a treat.

my favorite snack these days is sliced cucumbers with spreadable goat cheese in between. being hypoglycemic, i love the protein in the goat cheese combined with a little bit of vegetable carb. it keeps me going!

I am enjoying a refreshing summer snack. My husband grows delicious tomatoes and cucumbers in our garden, making this an even more special treat. I take a COCO lite multigrain pop cake, spread with cottage cheese and then layer with thick slices of tomato and thin slices of cucumber. Sprinkle lightly with sea salt and eat over a plate because there can be fallout! This is so satisfying and guilt-free.

My favorite healthy snack is pumpkin seeds. I love the seeds that are in the shell because they are chewy. I recently enjoyed some spicy pumpkin seeds seasoned with garlic, cayenne pepper and tamari soy sauce that were great! Pumpkin seeds are packed with protein, healthy fat and fiber.

Oh we're a family of snackaholics. We rather snack 6 times a day then eat full meals sometimes! Our number one go to snack is of course fruit and raw veggies with dips such as cream cheese, nut butters, hummus and sesame dressing.We also love making our own trail mixes with raw freeze dried fruit, raw nuts and seeds, and cereal, pretzels or crackers. Love air-popped popcorn, edamame beans, fresh or dried, and raw corn on teh cob. For quick grab and goes we turn to raw food bars, nut butter squeeze packs, and dried fruit bites or strips.

I buy the Annies snack crackers in bulk and when we're on the go I take the little packages with. In addition, I buy bulk trail mix and seperate it into little containers myself for a healthy snack on the go!
