My favorite snack-on-the-go from childhood has to be frozen potstickers, microwaved in the morning and eaten cold at lunch. Best. snack. ever.

I'm trying to make balanced snacks this year and my favorite right now is a small piece of fresh mozzarella with a slice of prosciutto wrapped around and a few green apple slices. The mix of protein and natural fruit sugar keeps me going for awhile!

Chocolate chia pudding! Mix some almond milk, cocoa powder, sweetener of choice, and chia seeds in a container and refrigerate while at school. When you get home, add some chopped fruit and nuts/nut butter and you have a delicious, power-packed pudding to keep the brain chugging!

My kids and I are into Greek yogurt parfaits. We layer yogurt with fresh berries and granola in a parfait glass and then drizzle some honey on top and a sprinkle of cinnamon. It's healthy and it makes my kids feel like they're getting a treat.

Here at my house we love graham crackers --the honey grahams, and also the cinnamon grahams. Sometimes I break them into bite-sized pieces and add raisins,chocolate chips, and nuts. The graham crackers are very wholesome and the possibilities are endless!

I buy the Annies snack crackers in bulk and when we're on the go I take the little packages with. In addition, I buy bulk trail mix and seperate it into little containers myself for a healthy snack on the go!

Whole wheat tortillas sprinkled with cinnamon, cut them into triangles then bake them till they become crispy. Dip them in: Fruit salsa ... I let my kids pick out the fruit they want, then i cut it into small pieces and drizzle it with lime juice and honey.

Oh we're a family of snackaholics. We rather snack 6 times a day then eat full meals sometimes! Our number one go to snack is of course fruit and raw veggies with dips such as cream cheese, nut butters, hummus and sesame dressing.We also love making our own trail mixes with raw freeze dried fruit, raw nuts and seeds, and cereal, pretzels or crackers. Love air-popped popcorn, edamame beans, fresh or dried, and raw corn on teh cob. For quick grab and goes we turn to raw food bars, nut butter squeeze packs, and dried fruit bites or strips.

I love combining leftovers in new and creative ways to minimize waste and encourage creativity. Today we'll have cold leftover apple cinnamon whole wheat pancakes with a big scoop of Nancy's Organic Cultured Cottage Cheese. It's a great pairing of carbs and protein and tastes great, too.

It's not portable, but my favorite snack is to blend a banana, frozen strawberries, raw cacao powder & nibs, and a few dried cherries and create a treat that is more satisfying than chocolate ice cream and makes me feel great too. Seriously... try it, it's amazing.

My favorite snack is low-fat or fat-free yogurt with a side of fruit. I especially like strawberries because they're good for dipping and super yummy!
