Gift Giving Guide: Part Three

By Allison Burch, November 27, 2011  |  Meet the Blogger  |  More Posts by Allison Burch
Whether you’re stuffing a stocking, sending a gift across the country, handing a hostess a little holiday cheer or simply putting something special in the hands of someone special, you’re sure to find something to share with everyone on your list. We’re sharing helpful ideas in this three-part gift giving series.  In Part One, we covered 10 gifts under $10 to make even a Grinch smile. Part Two explored stocking stuffers and homemade gifts. Today we’re sharing tips for easy shopping from the comfort of your living room — in your PJs with a mug of hot cocoa in hand. SHOP ONLINE Gift Cards Whole Foods Market® gift cards mean everyone gets just what they want – no re-gifting, no returns – and you can be sure that whatever they choose will be of excellent quality, if we may say so ourselves. In addition to the traditional gift cards that you can pick up in any of our stores, you can send our new electronic gift cards via email or text message right from our website. And with options for setting up automatic reloads on our gift cards, you can keep the giving going all year long. This year our gift cards give even more: for each new Whole Foods Market gift card purchased online from November 16 to December 31, we’ll donate $1 to Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry® program. Gift Boxes Do you know a serious snacker? What about a coffee connoisseur or a healthy eating enthusiast? Our gift boxes are a delicious gift that will satisfy most everyone on your gift list. Order them online and ship anywhere in the US. And mark your calendar because on November 28 (aka CyberMonday) we're offering FREE SHIPPING!
  • The Gift of Grub is filled with salty, sweet and savory nibbles, all of which are free of hydrogenated fats, artificial colors, flavors, preservatives or sweeteners.

  • The Perfect Sip contains three thoughtfully selected bags of whole beans from Allegro® Coffee.

  • Mighty Bowls of Goodness includes fist-pumping fixings and healthy recipe ideas to make delicious and nutritious one-dish meals.
Whatever path you take through Giftland, have fun, get creative and remember: the real gift is having family and friends to share the holidays with! What do you hope you’ll unwrap this year?

I want a plastic gift card to give to my son, but I want it sent to me. The order form asked for the receipent's name and address. I want it in his name but I want it sent to me in a different state. How do I go about doing that? It seems like an impossibility with your order form. Will hope to get a response soon. Thank you...Carolyn Ansted

@Brooke Holiday bags should be available in stores at this time. However, for information on your community's Whole Foods Market and when they're going to offer the holiday bags, I encourage you to reach out to them directly. Each store does things a little differently, so this is the best way to get the most accurate and complete information. The link below will help you identify the contact information for your store. Happy Holidays! www.wholefoodsmarket.com/stores

@Carolyn I believe all you need to do is order a card and have it sent to your home. I don't believe that the cards have names printed on them, ie you won't be able to have your son's name printed on the card. If you are still experiencing problems with the card system, please contact our card support line at 866.833.5591. The link below will also provides the email contact for support. Good luck and happy holidays! https://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/giftcards/
