We love sweet potato/rutabega latkes seasoned with cinnamon and onion, along with savory applesauce and good organic sour cream. We try to keep things healthy with green salad and citrus fruit salad, but can't give up the chocolate kiss cookies with chocolate geldt in place of the kiss!

I'm definitely making baked latkes this year - delicious, and half the calories and fat of fried latkes. http://healthyrecipesblogs.com/2011/12/15/baked-latkes/
