I have been going Organic for about 12 years now and Whole Foods is my favorite place to take advantage of there selection of the freshest fruits and vegetables. Me and my daughters love the strawberries, blueberries, bananas, but my favorite is the romaine lettuce. not to mention all the fresh baked goods you just can't get enough of.I do find myself going for one thing and ending up with a full cart, can't help myself.

Some of my staples include: at least three bunches of organic kale, a jar of tahini or almond butter, a variety of organic vegetables for juicing (celery, red beets, fresh ginger, cucumbers, jalapeno peppers, a large bag of carrots) and some green granny smith apples. Other staples are tomato sauces, a variety of pastas, soy turkey in a package, two 32 oz. boxes of low sodium chicken broth, a loaf of olive bread and at least two 32 oz. boxes of almond or rice milk from Whole Foods.

I stock my pantry with plenty of rice, pasta, bread crumbs, nuts, dried cranberries and assorted jams and preserves, rice milk and almond butter, candied ginger, and a variety of spices

My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving mainly because of all the great food...Although I no longer eat meat I will eat an organic, wild range , non antibiotic turkey on that day. The one food I must have is sweet potatoes. Growing up it was one of the few times we ate them during the year, and we always had them on Thanksgiving. They are very tasty and nutritious. Now I make sure I eat them at least once a week, and I will buy only the organic ones which I can usually only find at my Whole Foods store near where I work. I try to buy all my organic fruits and vegetables there.
