Bacon is a great flavor enhancer. I love microwaving or baking my bacon to remove most of its fat. Crumbled in eggs, or a salad, or in mashed potatoes, or left whole for sandwiches, the possibilities are endless. Bacon offers bountiful benefits. God bless the pig!

It's unfortunate Whole Foods choses to make Facebook a requirement. I think they could give another option for those few of us who are not Facebook fools, but still love Whole Foods and bacon! Bummer! We love bacon!

Create bacon that can be used to make houses - like gingerbread. Moldable bacon.

Prior coming to Whole Foods, I thought that i've had bacon. I was completely wrong. The thick cut slabs of bacon are more substantive than the regular bacon found on the supermarket shelves. And that pigs that the bacon came from have to hormones or antibiotics makes the bacon all the more better. The best thing to do with bacon in my mind is BLT. There is nothing that compliments good bacon like a fresh ripe tomato. The perfect pairing.

Let me share a great, easy recipe. In custard bowls, drop 1 egg; wrap a half slice of bacon that has been cooked to remove grease, add 1 tsp butter a dash of salt and pepper. Place on a cookie sheet in the oven until egg is cooked as desired! As a tip, I usually precook my bacon on a jelly roll pan in the oven.

Even though my wife and daughter are vegetarians and I, therefore, eat soy bacon at home I would love an indulgence of humanely raised "healthy" bacon. I will share with all my neighbors and enlighten them!

I make a wonderful quiche that taste even better when you add bacon to it. It is a cheese and broccoli quiche but when you add bacon, it goes from good to great.

BALT's taste great in the summer! Bacon, avocado, lettuce, and tomato on freshly toasted sourdough bread! Love the combo of tart, salty, crunchy, and creamy in this sandwich! Add an egg, and it becomes breakfast...or breakfast for dinner!

I love bacon, pure and simple. A sacrilegious bagel? Toasted bagle w/a little butter, cream cheese and fresh bacon. Delish. Also a great partner in my baked beans with molasses and onions or as a base flavor for my Branford CT. clam chowder with fresh shucked clams, potatoes, celery, onions and a diced garden tomatoe.

BACON CANDY! This simple recipe goes amazingly well with a special Sunday pancake breakfast. 10oz bacon, 1/3c dark brown sugar. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Line a large cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Place bacon slices on pan, leaving about .25" in between each. Cook for 10 minutes, flip bacon. Cook for 10 more minutes or until almost crisp and then sprinkle each slice liberally with dark brown sugar. Cook for 5-10 minutes more until brown sugar is fully melted. Allow to cool for 5 minutes. YUM!!
