On Saturday, June 20th, have a choice of a few Father's Day cards (with blank insides)for "kids" of all ages to sit down and fill out. Have a team member or two available to write what younger children want to say to their dads. (You might also want to have a few open-ended questions ready to ask to get them talking about their dads.) Then have a display with fun, unique gifts for kids to buy. I can't wait!

The gift card would let us afford to get items for a bar b que with the family! We love Whole Foods, but our local stores aren't that local. They are all at least 15 plus miles from us. I'm on disability and my partner's been unemployed for over a year. Winning a gift card would let us do something for family that's been there for us. Thanks.

someone get brad some simple sandals!

The product my dad would love (or that I would love to give him :) ) for Father's Day--a Whole Foods reusable water bottle! I've been trying for years to get him out of his bottled water habit, and I think buying him the bottle myself would be a great impetus for him to finally go green.

My dad likes the Vanilla Cake from Whole Foods Bakery.

red tail beer

Hannah says …

Do his chores for him! Feed him his favorite Cheerios with Whole Foods organic bananas and blueberries while doing it!

Winning a $100 gift card would definitely help my Father's Day special!

We rarely indulge in red meat, but dad would love a big juicy free range steak from Whole Foods.

My husband loves Whole Foods! I'm not sure what would make him happier: kabobs for the grill, a really awesome wine, or some fabulous cheese. Maybe all three!

Karina says …

Have lots of bar-b-que stuff in store -- the demos outside the store never hurt either!

Linda Hotton says …

A free gelato cone for Dads would be nice - and probably make money for Whole Foods because other family members would most likely get one, too! I'll be waiting for my marketing tip payment check in the mail. (just kidding!)

Having never grown up with my father in the picture, Father's day for my family was different. Mom's are celebrated on Mother's day, but for my mom we celebrate her and what she has done for our family a second time on Father's day. Mom loves to have the family together for cook outs. A few steaks and corn on the grill, couldn't think of anything more a dad(or in my case mom) would like more!

Your products that will put this Father's Day over the top this year with me and my dad is definitely your soups and pizza. I'll be with my dad at your Columbus, OH store (which ..by the way is pretty dern cool) We love to spend hours in your store.... Thanks y'all.... Gary

Wow..he is from the islands and our Whole Foods has Oxtail and curry chicken that he absolutely loves! He is in the military and I am living in an apt until he comes back from Kuwait and he has already said when we buy a house it has to be close to Whole Foods. So I think we would use it to buy him a nice island dinner when he comes home. He loves the BBQ as well. I also buy him a lot of supplements from Whole Foods as well.

I could get some good meat for my husband to grill for my FIL. He loves grilled food.

Julie says …

His favorite thing is to go shopping on Sunday and reward himself afterwards with a yummy treat from your BBQ outside.

My dad loves to cook with me. Oftentimes, what he wants to cook uses ingredients only found in a specialty store like Whole Foods. If I know he is looking for something and I go to Whole Foods, I will buy what he is looking for; the last time I did this he was looking for raw peanuts. It took a couple tries due to the peanut recall, but I eventually found them and he was able to make the recipe he wanted to! I know and trust Whole Foods and I know that if these ingredients aren't purchased at Whole Foods, my dad will buy them off the internet. Then who knows where they're coming from? It's great to have such a wonderful store in which my dad and I can buy ingredients we can trust.

My father has always been keen on getting groceries at Whole Foods when I switched to an all natural diet. I would love to be able to contribute a $100 towards his purchases!

Lauren Holwell says …

Everyone is big on wine pairing however my father is more of a beer drinker. I think it would be great to do beer pairing with bar-b-que ideas.

Breanne says …

Would love to do a bbq for hubby and dad.

My husband has been "MR. MOM" for the past year, (because of a job loss) He has already won the father of the year in my book. :-) And with two kids, two rescued pups, and myself it gets quite busy around here. He helped me, with all the "mule work" as he calls it, to get the soil ready for our garden. THAT is going to help us a great deal this summer, (and so would a gift from whole foods???) Thank you for making the shopping world a "whole" lot greener! Peace.

My dad is the greatest, I want to fix him a great healthy meal

My father loves to grill and with $100 we could be some great free range steaks, along with some tasty shrimp and scallops for our non-red eat meaters. For our vegetarians would could get some portobellos to to be grilled with organically grown red peppers. Grilled sweet potatos would great as well. Yum! And we wouldn't forget the fresh fruit and a locally made cake from the bakery!

Emily Faulkner says …

My husband loves to grill fresh food from Whole Foods on summer days, and as a Daddy to two little ones he is happy to fill their tummies with wholesome goodness.

Julie Centeno says …

My hubbie would love some healthy steaks and fixin's from Whole foods. We recently switched to organic eating and just started shopping at Whole Foods. It's a bit more expensive, but worth it!

David Rice says …

How to make Father's Day special this year? How about a 4:00 PM workshop from Russell on the different cuts of beef, where they come from (anatomically speaking,) what each is best used for, and how to grill perfect steaks. All discussed over an ICE-cold FIreman's Four from the tap. I'd be there and buy a few pounds of porterhouse. Time would be perfect to get home and get to work grilling.

Ester says …

I'd be thrilled to pick up some good, organic coffee beans, and baking supplies like 365 organic pastry flour and 365 vegan chocolate chips to make my husband's favorite treats with my kids!

Jill P. says …

We don't get to eat red meat much because we're watching our diet and fat intake, so I'd love to make him a big juicy steak on the grill and a broccoli salad for dinner with the $100 gift card :)

Lane Everett says …

My wish for my husband (and family) is to live a healthier life. He has been on multiple diets over the past decade that we have been together. I think shopping with Whole Foods will allow us to choose foods that we cannot find in the common grocery store. This year, I want our family on a Live-it, not a die-it.

Tiffany Clum says …

My kids and I would love to get my Husband all the special cheeses and supplies for making homeade ravioli cause he really really enjoys making it from scratch and likes to sit in our local whole foods store smelling and choosing special cheeses for pasta dishes of all kinds including his special manicotti! That would make for a fabulous Fathers Day gift! Thanks Tiff,Gabe and Triston

What will put Father's Day over the top for me? And my dad? And the ENTIRE FAMILY??? Stuffed Burgers with Gorgonzola and Smoky Bacon: http://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/recipes/recipe.php?recipeId=1640 I have to restrain myself from making these every day, so I reserve them only for holidays: Memorial Day, Father's Day, etc. (Unfortunately, my mom wanted to go out to brunch, so I missed that one...) These burgers are ROCKIN'! If you want to make them even more over the top, serve with a little 365 Everyday Value Organic Caesar Dressing for dipping on the side. Really. It's THAT good!

Though my own father has been dead for several years now, I find that the way I honor him, is to pass on traditions to our daughter, now 16, who loves her father. My dear husband is not only one of the "good ones" in terms of being a gentle and loving husband, but a great father. And on father's day, it is our tradition to "grill for dad" in honor of my father, and then to call my father-in-law and letting both son and grand-daughter honor his father as well. It is all about tradition, love and passing it on.

As a father of a 10 going on 20 year old, I would love to have things we both could use.... hiking and camping gear.... a nice dinner at a small, mom and pop restaraunt..... all would be great, but most of all, a nice, quiet day with just to the two of us doing whatever we could enjoy together. Happy Father's day to all the Dad's out there! Regards! -V

mcoker says …

Employ a country redneck good-ol-boy in the meat department to identify with my dad (from West Texas) and school him in the art and beauty of organic, grass-fed beef. I have tried so many times to spell out the benefits, but my dad still doesn't get it. I will continue to try, however, until I can no longer, and this Father's Day is no exception. I will be cooking the best steaks Whole Foods has to offer, and hopefully dad will turn over a green leaf :)

Whole Foods is a special place, and we'd love to have one closer to us! We drive to Houston (Bellaire) ... about 40 minutes for us! Father's Day will be very special this year because when Hurricane Ike hit in September, my dad (a local pastor) lost his church and his day job, all in one day! He has had a hard time dealing with it and he and my mom have been struggling to make ends meet. You could make his day special if he could give his wife a gift card to Whole Foods to make the Father's Day meal!

My dad (as well as my mom and I) found out he had Celiac 3 years ago. Since then he loves shopping at Whole Foods for Gluten Free products! He appreciates your Gluten free bakery and being able to pick up scones, cookies, bread, and cupcakes. Being able to enjoy the foods he used to be able to eat without getting ill is awesome! He also enjoys being able to buy Gluten Free pasta noodles and crackers. Thank you for helping him (us) be able to enjoy food again!

Abbie Perina says …

My husband and father of our 2 kids works so hard to allow me to stay home, but on top of that he works extra jobs to buy the healthiest food we can for our family. We love Whole Foods and buy as much as we can each shopping trip we can on our limited budget. We always find room for a couple of yummy cookies to take home to Daddy. The giftcard would allow me to get Daddy's favorites for everyday not just Father's Day! We should celebrate our Dad's everyday not just on Father's Day!

Patricia says …

A $100 gift card to Whole Foods would do a WHOLE lot for our Father's Day BBQ. I have been laid off since January, so being able to eat as healthy and WHOLEsome as I would like is challenging on a very limited budget. To be able to BBQ with fish and veggies, well, would be wonderful :)

sher says …

we're trying to eat more fruits and veggies around here, dad included. keep those organic fruits and veggies on sale, and you'll make our dad happy :-)

Drew T. says …

Pops is a "wino" and with your great selection, he'd be getting some solid bottles of wine with this gift card...

My dad was diagnosed with Kidney cancer 4 weeks ago and just had surgery yesterday to remove his kidney, ureter, and part of his bladder. Since his diagnoses he has become very much aware of how important your diet is for your health. I have been teaching him how to eat more organic and natural foods, but it is quite expensive. This gift card would help me be able to afford more tasty natural foods for him, and I know once I get him started he will be hooked and not go back to his old ways of eating.

Dean says …

Dad is gluten free, mom is dairy free and 5 yr old daughter is peanut free -- needless to say Whole Foods makes our lives better by offering products we can eat. Whole Foods Rocks!

Kayla says …

I would love to get my dad some healthy foods from Whole Foods. He's been trying to lose weight and become healthier, and I think this is the perfect gift to show I care and help him on his journey to a better life.

Kristi says …

My husband would love a reusable water bottle, Simple sandals and sushi for his father's day dinner and for my dad, we'd love to have a family picnic on the Blue Ridge Parkway with an assortment of yummies from Whole Foods.

Valissa says …

I'm always trying to get my dad to eat better, so I'd love to use the $100 to send him a care package of delicious & healthy treats!

Priscilla Arias says …

I was already planning to get a Whole Foods basket to give to my dad for Father's Day! Maybe I'll get lucky...

Chris Barber says …

My Dad would would LOVE to get a pound of morel mushrooms. They are so difficult to find in the wild, but they are his favorite treat at Whole Foods Market by far!

Jesús DeLeón-Serratos says …

Anything will work really. I just like to go there with my family and eat while we see our little one enjoy herself on the kiddie area. If that Mushroom soup is still there, that's a treat in itself.

Rodrigo Salas says …

I'd love to get a bottle of wine that shows to be a great value because of its body, flavor and price. Something unique and inexpensive. Also, a cheese sampling board with cheeses from around the world that can be easily paired with wine and other snacks.
