My dad is a guy who loves down home cooking, so any tips/recipes for good old country cooking updated for a leaner, healthier menu with lots of taste would be great!!!

For Father's Day, I can do one-stop shopping at WholeFoods. Breakfast-in-bed items + ways to decorate the house (flowers). Great selection of coffee and organic goods to nourish the body and soul. Thanks WholeFoods!

The father in our house would be thrilled to receive a gift card. We could use it to make a delicious, wholesome feast in his honor.

Whole Foods has so many wonderful foods to choose from. Just to go shopping and spending time with each other would be a wonderful day! Make each moment count. Whole Foods has a relaxing atmosphere, and so many varieties of various products to choose. You will feel like you are on a treasure hunt, because each product you find will be gold!!! Have a wonderful day!!!

My husband told me the best thing about marrying me was that I had taught him and the kids a much healthier way to eat. He had grown up in Kalamazoo, Michigan and had been served those nifty Campbell soup main dish classics. I believe he deserves this gift card because how many dads/husbands ever tell their wives that food she cooks has improved his life? I shop every week at Whole Foods and try to get organic whenever I can, we are also vegetarians.

My Dad is always excited about trying new dishes and recipes. Your suggestions on Father's Day meals starting with breakfast and ending with desserts are always very helpful when deciding what I can make for him. I like the variety of trail mixes, energy bars and granola for those energy boosts while cycling and hiking. Advice on what's good for certain things would be beneficial. Thanks again for being such a great Market.Highly recommend to all my friends and family, even in CO.

Whenever my dad visits me, he enjoys going to Whole Foods Market. Dad’s favorite items to purchase are the Apricot pastries.

My parents moved from Ann Arbor to Santa Fe, NM. My Dad was bummed that he had to leave WF behind, only to discover that they have one there as well. He's happy again.

Having a pre-planned menu to choice from like you have for Thanksgiving. That way I can pick up a great healthy meal pre-done thus spending more time with dad.

Father's Day is the official start of summer for us. With $100, I would buy Whole Foods "real" meat and organic vegetable, imported beer and lots of ice cream! Oh, and chocolate for dad.

Mary D'Amato says …

oh boy, is there enough space to list all of the things my husband Tim loves in Whole Foods? For starters, he would like some scallops and shrimp from your fish dept. The guys there are nice enough to even put the shrimp on skewers for you. Then, he loves the coffee and don't forget the Dark Chocolate candy bars that Whole Foods offers. YUM!

We practically live at Whole Foods, I go there everyday! It would be nice to buy items at whole foods without having to worry about budgeting. So yes, a gift card would be one of those days that we could splurge!!!

Claude Bitner says …

I'd like to try some nice new wines!

Alicson says …

Will almost certainly buy some good cheeses, meats for grilling and probably also some already-prepared meats.

My husband grew up a butcher in a small town in Ohio. I am a health nut, together we make quite a team. He knows his meats well and supports organic farming methods. He insists on picking out the meats when we go shopping, because I don't know how..and quite frankly, I am ok with that! He tells me, I'll pick it out and cut it up, you cook it up and I'll eat it up. It is a deal that I am very happy with!

Suzanne says …

I think my husband, Michael, would LOVE to have some of that wonderful wild caught Copper River salmon, along with some of your great potato salad and a fresh baguette and maybe some fresh baby greens with some blueberries and raspbarries! I think that would help make his Father's Day perfect!

Sue R says …

I say they need to bring some of the new items from Whole Foods in Santa Fe here like the Banana Foster French Toast. And mine will be thrilled with a pound of Italian Coffee like served in the coffee bar. Any grooming item would be appreciated too, like natural hand cremes, the Tom's brand items and the natural healing gel. Hope all have a Great Fathersday

In the Chapel Hill, NC Whole Foods, in the bakery section, are things called Butter Bars. They are made locally in North Carolina, by a non-WF source, but sold at WF. They are to die for. My mom and sister also love them, and my dad is the biggest fan of all. What would really make my dad happy is for me to be able to send him some of these butter bars - but neither the Whole Foods nor the bakery itself will ship them (I've since moved). Still, if the Seattle stores carry them, I could ship them myself. That would make my dad quite the happy camper!

My Dad is 93. Saw the first atomic blast and US jet when he was in the service. Bought a drink for Arthur Treacher at the Brown Derby and met Elanor Roosevelt. How do I top that? Some lobster (which I have found I am allergic to) and some aged steakes.

Jamie Wolfe says …

A nice salt-free deli spread his doctor would approve of.

Nikole says …

My hubby would love to have some of the buffalo dogs that the Oakland store sold for two days right before Memorial Day. Alternately, he would be beside himself with joy if I were able to serve a venison steak for Father's Day dinner.

Hengi says …

My husband became a father for the first time 6 months ago and is in need of yummy homecooked organic food, so he can get the night off (he is the chef of the house). I'd love for him to enjoy a pair of the organic recycle-material sandals you have as well as mybe a bottle of wine that we usually wouldn't be able to afford along with his favorit ice-cream that he runs to whole foods for!

Miss M! says …

A nice meal of a grilled steak, some crash potatoes, and maybe a little roasted asparagus would be something my husband would enjoy, I think! Then we'd follow it up with a yummy dessert from the bakery dept.

Tyna says …

My husband and the father of our 6 children will want the gift of knowing that his family eats healthy, wholesome, organic food and that they are making good choices that will serve their well-being all their lives.

My husband has been recently diagnosed with type II Diabetes. He has been striving to live a healthier lifestyle and we love the endless wonderful products at Whole Foods. Since he is a teacher he feels it is important to pass on these hints of good healthy eating and lifestyle to his students also. I would love to see him win this contest. He works so hard, and deserves it, since he has never won anything this would be a great place to start. Cindy

My husband has been on the Atkins Diet to jump start his weight loss. It would be a great gift for him for Father's Day to receive the gift card so he is able to shop for low carb items that Whole Foods carries. They are so much harder to find and Whole Foods is one of the only places that carries selection of low carb items.

Lovely stuff! I went to England this summer and had some afternoon tea with scones , and it was absolutely delicious I thought I'd try and make my own last weekend. I might have deviated from the norm maybe - I found a bunch of random scone recipes here and made 5 different types! My friends were so happy when I invited them round for tea and scones. Great fun!

affiliate network software says …

An affiliate network can be thought of as a virtual meeting place between publishers and merchants. Publishers being the affiliates, and merchants being the product owner or creator. Most networks offer hundreds of different products to promote for a commission. The amount paid to affiliates varies widely from network to network. The products could range from digital information products, to any number of actual physical products. No matter what your niche, you can expect to find an affiliate product for it in the top affiliate networks.

I just started shopping at Whole Foods about a year ago. Now I would like for my husband to jump on the band wagon. A gift card would definitely get him hyped and started!

Caroline Wickham says …

I think Father's Day is an opportunity to give 'Dad' something from Whole Foods he's been wanting but not buying ~ perhaps one of those special chocolate bars from Denman Island, or some beer from Salt Spring Is. or some really lavish healthy shaving lotion. But, if he's watching his weight, snack bars are always smart+fun! A kid could put one in each back pocket (his own), and then pull that age-old trick of asking 'Dad' to guess what's there, before giving them to him!

This is a really great contest for Dad, and that is exactly what this is all about. If my Father were to win this I would bring him to shop as he no longer can drive (he is 78).He needs the food in the fridge more than we need the cookout for one day. Any way the way I was brought up we don't need to set one day aside for Dad or Mom to feed them.

Kelsey says …

My dad is great. He spends his days working hard and would love to come home for a no-hassle dinner. However, he is cannot tolerate gluten, eggs or milk products. My mom shops at your Andover store for him but buying groceries that work around his intolerances can get expensive, especially when she still has three other mouths to feed (us kids!). A gift card would give him the ability to go into your store and pick out his favorite foods without having to worry about the price!
