This will be an unusal father's day at our house. It will just be my hubby Stephen & I, as all the kids are away.. Our babygirl who is away at college ask me to frame lots of pics and sit them in funny places so Dad would know she was here. One of their favorite things was to grocery shop together. So if we win a Whole Foods Card, I would prearrage pics of our kids to be displayed throughout the store. Then I could make like him and I need to run by WFS and SURPRISE it would really be "Stephen's Fathers Day with the kids" and he could pick the menu.....LOL!!!

My kids and I would use the gift card to buy and make Dad a special meal...wood chips for grilling, grilled steak, fresh grilled vegetables in olive oil or romaine lettuce and vegetables to make a tossed salad, chocolate dessert or the small chocolate chip cookies. Then later in a snack bag we'd give him a bag of nuts, chips and beer for later.

Last Father's Day I treated him and my brother (also a dad) to your excellent beef burgers and buffalo burgers. This year, I'm cooking lamb sausage and beef hotdogs with fun sides of fresh veggies and colorful sweet potato chips. I'll be checking out the wine selections for the perfect choice for the lamb and gluten free beer for the dogs. Topping it off with home made ice cream. A wonderful day with a wonderfully healthy meal.

Well ever since we learned I had Celiac and must eat more whole foods without the wheat gluten, I have been trying new treats each time I stop into Whole Foods. Now my hubby who doesn't have to eat this way chooses to he says because he wants to support me, his loving wife. I say "Yah, right. We all know it's Pamela who you're supporting!" (ehem aka: Pamelas yummy cookies!)So all Dad needs in our house is unlimited yummies from Whole Foods and he'd be in Daddy Delight!

My dad continues to eat food that is really harming his health because he doesn't know what else to do and he doesn't want to spend a ton of money. I would love to be able to show him how to shop for food that tastes great without shooting his blood sugar through the roof, because I don't want him hurting himself and leaving this planet prematurely due to his eating habits!

My husband prefers to buy most of our food from Whole Foods, than any other store. His reasons: freshest seafood, safest meat, organic fruits. A gift card from Whole Foods for Father's Day will be a surefire present that he would really appreciate and he's hard to please!

For lunch, we want him to pick out his favorite "made to order" sushi and seaweed salad. For dinner, we want to peel the corn for corn-on-the-cob and have some hamburgers and shrimp on the grill. We think that will make him feel special!Stephen, 4 Jennifer, 3

Our family journeys from Ohio to Ann Arbor once monthly to stock up on organic, vegan, whole foods from your store. My husband, who cares for our three children, loves the fresh olives at your olive bar and getting fresh toppings to make homemade pizza. I would use the gift card to get him that and some organic beer to go with it. Thanks!!!!!!! Happy Father's Day to all the dad's out there!!!!!!!!

My dad really likes a good fish or steak dinner. Since he recently decided to get back to a healthier lifestyle (his doctor helped him along with that decision), We've been doing almost all of our shopping at Whole Foods Market and he even bought stock! How cool is that? Anyway, I would love to treat my dad (and the rest of our family too), to a wonderful steak/fish dinner, since Whole Foods has such a great variety of meats and fish it wouldn't be hard to find just the right stuff. Also, A really nice tossed salad with lots of the fresh produce that's available this time of the year would be great. And lastly, I would top it all off with one the the great deserts at the Bakery, or I'd make it myself, since I've taken several cooking classes, and I enjoy baking. I really like the organic brownie mix at Whole Foods, it's awesome!

My dad loves cooking with quality food and great ingredients. I would normally bake him something yummy for him, but am away this summer. I know he would love nothing better than having no reins at Whole Foods to cook a big feast full of intriguing dishes he's probally been drooling over for ages!

My husband Josh is the hardest worker I know, and the busiest man I know. He works as IT Manager at a chicken plant (ever know there was technology in the chicken?) and then comes home and works until nearly midnight (sometimes later) trying to finish up the house he (not a house building crew) has been working on for us for over 2 years. He has been a man who gives more than his all, especially as my rock since our youngest daughter's nearly fatal accident 8 months ago when she fell from our under construction 2nd story balcony. What my hubby, who's daddy to four girls, needs is something to help him relax, take a load off, and feel appreciated. I don't know how we could ever thank him for his endless sacrifice to our family, which now includes helping me learn how to cook and care for our recently diagnosed food allergy in our oldest daughter. Thanks, Tammy C Walker

My dad lives in New Mexico and loves everything spicy. I would get the hot pepper-stuffed olives from the cheese department, as well as a cool Riesling wine to wash them down with!

Nothing says I love you like a nice velvety cheese with a balanced glass of wine

My Daddy is from Norway and I would use the money to by him his free range norweigna salmon for a dinner to remind him of being with his family there. I would use the rest of the money to get him a reuseable water bottle so he stops having to recycle all his plastic ones. reduce - reuse - recycle. Abigail K. age 5

Steamed clams have been my father's favorite for years.

I think my husband would love an awesome filet of fish, grilled on a cedar plank, over char-wood, with grilled organic fresh vegetables and an organic fruit salad. Perhaps a lovely bottle of wine and some homemade garlic bread to top it all off - all while listening to a winning Indians game.
