I have just bought natural bar soaps in Wild by Nature. I have been very excited and happy to try natural products. I am willing to change my lifestyle by using natural products. Harmful chemicals such as SLS, parabens, phthalates and petroleum derived products affects our health. Therefore, I am ready to go green and environmental friendly. I have started using natural laundry detergent on fall'08 and last month I started using Mill Creek shampoo, and today bar soap from pure life. I have accomplish my goals and willing to continue on the rest of products that I use on daily basis. I even have done research on these chemicals and I am writing a research paper on harmful chemicals. HAPPY EARTH DAY!

All the little things I can do and everyone can do will make a difference to our environment. I will remember to bring my reuable bag and mug when I go shopping and get a coffee. I will turn out lights turn down the heat and turn off appliances Iam not using. I will reduce reuse or recycle everthing I can. I will continue to compost and grow as much food as I can in our garden. I will try new composting ideas like worm bins. I will get that old fridge out of the basement this summer.I will keep learning of new ways to help the environment that haven't even been thought of yet.

Help my family recycle more at home and that things also have alternative uses. That yogurt tub is now our new herb pot w/a few adjustments. Help our school recycle even more, like those Capri juice packs are mailed in to be recycled and made into new things.

Last year we went to cloth napkins, this year it's a new compost pile in the back yard. Hoping to make use out of all those veggie scraps, coffee grounds, and egg shells to make the vegetable garden grow even better then before!

My husband and I turned 3/4 of our backyard into an organic garden! From June through October we don't have to buy any vegetables at the grocery store...we eat our own delicious home grown veggies! We have two composters and compost all of our food scraps daily. We have a recycling center in our garage where we sort and recycle everything possible. The recyclables that our city doesn't pick up, we take to Eco-cycle in Boulder. I am the "Mother Earth" at my office and let employees know what can and should be recycled. It is amazing to me how many people don't realize what can and cannot be recycled! I take home recyclables from work if there is not a recycle bin for them at our office building. We are the guardians of our dear Mother Earth and we are grateful that we can help in our own small way!

This year's green resolutions which are already in the works: paying bills online, using cloth shopping bags, brown-bagging and home-cooking almost every meal, and my husband even bought me a trike with a huge basket so I can do a week's worth of grocery shopping without using fossil fuels. My husband should get greenie points for being a city bus driver, too.
