Continue bringing my recycling home form work, but more students will add to it. Make students more aware of the small but mighty ways we all can help the planet.

My Green Resolution: Plant my own herb and vegetable garden and start a compost. Not buy any plastic water bottles and try to spread the word about the damage those little things do to our environment. Give reusable bottles as gifts to friends and family.. Live a greener, more aware life. Simple as that :o)

My plan is to pick up some trash from the ground everyday and recycle it with the rest of my recyclable materials. If everybody on earth picks up after themselves and doesn't litter and pollute the earth and it's resources, the earth and every species on the planet will be much happier. For every piece of trash that someone has thrown out, that person shoud be responsible for picking it up.

I am proud to flush only when necessary to save water! And I print on double sided paper at work and am trying to get our cafeteria at the workplace to start composting - switch to biodegradable cutlery instead of plastic and reusable bowls instead of cardboard and styrofoam

I will charge my cell phone only when driving so I don't use extra power by plugging in at home. May as well make use of the energy of the car I need to get to and from work! Will also turn my phone OFF when not needed—like at night, during shows etc. There was once a time when I wasn't always reachable, and that still works with my lifestyle.

My resolution this year is not to buy any more plastic products (tupperware, plastic wrap, ziploc bags, etc.) to store my food or anything else in anymore...and ideally, find something creative to do with the left over tupperware I already have.

I recently signed up for Whole Foods E-mail, but have only gone out of my way to visit a Whole Foods store once. I have been wanting to try new skin products sans the harmful hormone disrupting chemicals, but didn't want to waste the products I already possessed. For my resolution, I will plan a trip to Whole Foods and visit their skin care section. Does anyone know if we can take empty bottles to be refilled?

I will dedicate the whole year to teaching green principles and solutions to my son's cub scout pack, and then turn those teachings into actions and deeds. Since we are striving to make a better world it's important to involve the children. After all it will be the world they inherit.
