Great podcast! I like: Aloe for cuts and burns Peppermint tea for tummy aches Ginger for nausea Baking Soda paste for bug bites Oregano Tea for asthma...tastes awful but it works. Garlic keeps the bugs away as does Vitamin B Lemon/Honey for sore throats

Aloe for sun burns is the best! The first time we ever used the actual plant, we were in Jamaica, and my husband had gotten really burned. One of the staff noticed, and brought a fresh peice (Is it called a leaf? it's so thick, I don't know if it's a leaf!) of aloe for him! I had kind of forgotten about how great it was, but now I am feeling quite inspired to try to grown some of my own! I've also always used baking soda on bug bites, since I was little. I drove my mom nuts getting it all over the kitchen :) Thanks!

I always use a honey, cayenne pepper, and lemon juice 'tea' for sore throats. My children even know which ingredients to pull out of the cabinet when they feel "icky". Thanks for the podcast!
