I have a couple Putamayo cd's and I love them, I haven't gotten around to picking up a couple for my kids. This would be awesome. Any help at bedtime is a good thing :-)

I discovered the original Dreamland on a road trip with toddler twins and it was magic - calm and soothing for all. Since then i have given it as a gift at every baby shower I've been to. It's sure Acoustic: Dreamland will be just as wonderful.

This music sounds like a far better sleep aid than any pill can achieve and would be very welcomed to an insomniac like me!

I have never heard about Punumayo kids. If I am lucky enough to win that will be the beginning of listening and buying the cd's. I have plenty of classical cd's (Beethoven, Vilvaldi tec.) but not this one, this will be the first.

This would be a great addition to our clinic, radiation oncology, to use with the children we sedate, treat then recover. The tunes would be a serene environement for them to be sedated in and wake up to!

I'll have to check out the new accoustic dreamland when I'm at Whole Foods later this week. I love anything peaceful before hitting the hay- soft music with waves in the background, opening the window and listening to the rain outside or my cat purring beside me. All wonderful, all knock me out.

I enjoy listening to three sources of music from Putumayo: 1. Putumayo radio program (airs on WDCB at 7:00 a.m. on Sundays). 2. Putumayo CDs that I borrow from the Evanston Public Library. 3. Putumayo CDs that I've purchased used at 2nd Hand Tunes in Evanston, IL. Music that I fall asleep with includes: 1. "Music for Zen Mediation" [shakuhachi flute solos] by Riley Lee. 2. A CD from China called "Music for Efficient Sleep." Uses traditional Chinese instruments and melodies, and some Western orchestral instruments. Supposedly uses medical theories to balance Yin and Yang energies. 3. "Ghazal: Moon Rise Over the Silk Road." Persian and Indian improvisations by Kayhan Kalhor and Shujaat Husain Khan. If I win this contest, I'll use them to enchant a favorite niece.

I love Putumayo music! I love falling asleep to music, it puts me in a relaxed state and mutes all other background sounds. The problem is if you wake up to music, your brain is kind of confused! haha
