Love Latin music, but not as much as my 4 yr old! We were in the parking lot of a Latin grocery store, and the Latin music was blaring outside. He was dancing so hard while sitting in the cart, he attracted the attention of a gentlemen driving through the lot. He said wow, he can dance! Is he Latino? I laughed and said no, he is Italian, but loves Latin music. For my little man, as I call him, to win this cd set, would really be a blessing!

I do notice playing my Latin music cheers me up and makes me feel less dreary/cold in the winter. I play the music from my cousin in Ecuador, where my mother is from.I do like Brazilian music, but now that I think of it, I don't own any, so it would be nice to add that to my collection!

Brazilian rhythms transport me back to Rio when I was there to witness Carnival. I stayed up all night to watch the Samba Schools parade by with their amazing costumes and intoxicating beats. As I walked back to my hotel the morning sun put a pink light on the clouds and I was exhausted, but totally overcome with emotions and all that I had seen and heard. One of the most memorable times in my life.

Ever since receiving my cochlear implants, I've been experimenting with music that I had never heard before. Rhythm is easier for me to pick up than melody, so this sounds like it will be wonderful!

I love to put on music while I'm cooking and dance around the kitchen. The time flies, I have fun, and there's a delicious meal at the end.

I couldn't live happily without music -- It warms up my winters, cools down my summers, brings a smile to my days and joy to my evenings. I love discovering new music from all over the world... It's like getting to know a new friend. :)

Carnivale in Rio is an experience you will never forget. I had the pleasure of being there once and long to return. I would love to listen to the Brazilian beat and remember the fun times...sometimes wild. I listen to various Latin rhythms and this would be one more I could have in my collection and enjoy and remember the good times.

listening to different types of music from different parts of the world is what I like to hear the most. It is a good feeling to hear and see other cultures that makes this world interesting and wanting to explore more of what is out there.

This is music you want to throw on to get yourself moving when doing housework or while cooking dinner. Also great for casual entertaining when you have friends over for dinner and drinks. Our music collection already has Arabic Groove and I plan to see if our library carries this box set.

Not a day goes by, no matter the season, when we don't listen to a Putumayo CD! We love to listen to upbeat music during the day and my baby girl falls asleep to a Dreamland CD every night. :)

Nothing warms up winter dull drums like good Brazilian music and dancing the samba around the living room.

Kids tucked away in bed. Done after a long day. Time to put on some smooth jazz and sip on a hot cup of tea. Good evening!

My boys (ages 6 and 3) and I like to listen to world music while we doing many of our indoor homeschool activities during the winter months, especially art. Naturally, Putumayo tunes are some of our faves!

I can't think of a time in my day or day in my life that isn't infused with music! From the time I wake up in the morning 'til I go to bed at night, I have music playing. Sometimes it's only playing in my head! But it's still playing!

What is a good day without the rhythm of music? I own Putumayo's," Music from the coffee lands". How exciting that Whole Foods is carrying their new album.

Brazilian portugues is a very sweet-sounding language. The music is sensual and upbeat. It is warming mentally and spiritually.

For the past few years Chris Botti's album December has accompanied me as I spent late nights preparing holiday meals and baking cookies. Very therapeutic after everyone has gone to bed and just quiet focus. Brazilian music is wonderful. I especially love Bossa Nova.
