HOW TO CHOOSE?!?! I love all the genres of Latin music! From the romantic Rumba, the Cuban big bands, the intense Tango, the fun salsa, and even the "hip pop" bachata. I love them all!!! Latin music takes me to nostalgique memories. It also energies me, makes me dance and dance... Great job to Putumayo World Music! I have lived in different continents during my life and some how Putumayo Music has been the faithful companion that makes me feel home wherever I am.

I've always been fond of the cuban beats. There was a college station that play Cuban music on Sunday mornings. My friends and I would listen to the tart drumming and sharp horns as we cleaned the house (may be a bit hungover) after a smashing-good party the night before. A Putumayo 12 disc setup would make a fantastic birthday gift (5/5) Cha cha cha!

I have great memories of dancing the samba in the streets of Salvador, Brasil, throughout the nights during Carnival. Samba beats always bring back those thoughts and images of smiling faces, bright colors, and the warm night air!

I love Putamayo's collections! But Cinco de Mayo is a Mexican holiday that has very little to do with Rumba, Mambo and Cha Cha Cha.

I enjoy most Latin music. Some of my favorites are Bachata, Flamenco, Salsa, and Merengue. There may be some that I am not aware of and would like to learn about. The CD set being offered may be able to introduce me to new types of music I am unaware of! There are a lot of great musicians in the world and Putumayo seems to always find the best mix of them and create the perfect listening experience. Thank you to Whole Foods and Putumayo for making the world a better, more enjoyable place and for working together to spread the word.

Cha Cha is my favorite as this was the first dance my dad taught my cousins and me to dance in my grandparents basement. Anytime I hear this music, it reminds of a special moment in time with my father.

Samba!! I love all Latin music, and love that it is being incorporated more and more into other avenues, for example the movie 'Rio' - love the Latin flair in the movie's music! Latin music is a daily way of life here at our home!

I like the Cha, cha, cha music because my little great granddaughter dances so cute when she hears this music. I love to watch her really "get into it" with her little arms and legs moving. It brings a real smile to my face seeing how much she enjoys the rhythmic beat!

I really like the "salsa"latin music style. Denver has quite the salsa dancing community. You can go salsa dancing any night of the week. In addition, the Rumba, mambo and cha cha cha are danced at these salsa clubs.

I like the older Cuban style music - from the 50s mainly. I lived in Florida then and heard it regularly on the radio and TV. When many Cubans left after Castro came to power, the Cuban influence in Florida boomed. Music and dance were a big part of that. I learned the cha-cha as a teenager and music can bring the movement back instantly! Bueno Vista Social Club, movie and music, brought back the Cuban music I learned to love long ago.
