Favorite music and dance style is definitely salsa! There is nothing that makes me happier than to put on some salsa music and dance in my living room!

In my house it starts with Santana and encompasses many of the Latin styles. My husband grew up in El Paso in the 70s and loves Latin music.

I love Mambo! It's so much fun to kick it up & dance away, regardless of whether you know the correct steps or not :) Enjoy tea with lemon or a few margaritas & it's a great night... regardless of whatever else is going on!!

So hard to pick just one favorite, when they're all so good. I would pick Mariachi though, with a little salsa here and there : )

How could I choose? I dance zumba as much as possible. This combines many latin dances as well as african. I don't know about my favorite moves but my latest was a cha-cha at a cuban restaurant in Aruba on Friday April 22.

The CD that gets the most play at my house is Buena Vista Social Club. Second most played is Miguel Calo (tango).

I love Latin Music. Being born in the USA and having Cuban parents I was always exposed to this kind of music at home. My mom would make it a ritual to claen and dance to this music all the time. Chores were always a pleasure due to the great latin dance tunes of the rumba, mambo and of course cha cha cha!

Flamenco is my favorite! EVERYONE should give Camaron De La Isla a listen at least once, afterward they might just be hooked.

I learned to cha-cha in my teen-aged dance club in the early 70s. We even had dance cards! I love my Putamayo India CD - I know I would love their latin CDs.

I lived in Panama for two years and loved just turning on the radio to listen to all the variety of sounds. I stopped listening to American music altogether during that time knowing I might not ever get the chance to hear those sounds again. I still don't have a favorite style but I enjoy NPR's Alt Latino very much for that same sense of variety and passion.

I love cuban because it reminds me of Miami and lots of Spanish Flamenco music, since I am a dancer and have had many classes with all of that kind of music.

My favorite Latin music and dance is salsa (in other words, Mambo) and after that, cha cha, bolero and bachata. My husband has taught our two daughters how to dance salsa and other Latin dances and so now, our entire family loves all kinds of Latin music. Latin music is infectious! It's enriched our lives tremendously. It's great fun and we love the music, especially music from Putumayo. They've got great selections to just listen to at home or dance with your friends at a party!!
