I love the summer "pantry" basket idea, but isn't summer more about the freshest, organic, local produce and "non-pantriable" items? I suppose grains, spices, etc. would be the accents to the season!

I usually make some popsicles out of greek yogurt and fresh fruit (sometimes adding honey, or a bit of natural chocolate shaves for some flavor). But when it comes to pantry snacks - "kind" bars, home roasted organic almonds and pita chips are pure essentials. Some miso soup is good for those salty craves.
