It's hard to say just one but I love keeping beans around for making dips or adding to soups or salads. Making hummus from a variety of beans then get creative for dipping veggies in them is a perfect go to item.

I love to take along those onion-flax pita chips you guys stock. They're so hearty and satisfying! I have eaten them on their own (I would never call them plain!) or with hummus, but they are definitely my favorite pantry snack.

For breakfast my daughters love my French toast that I would spread while warm with cashew butter & strawberry spread. Lunch would be a savory bean stew. For dinner eastern kabobs on the grill with chopped almonds & dried fruits added to the beef. Then side it with a yogurt cucumber dip & whole grain pilaf. Yum! For a snack serve icy-cold yogurt topped with fruit & nut trail mix & chilled coconut water. The days over & everyone is well fed.

I keep nuts, trail mix, organic Greek yogurt, and raw honey on hand for a quick-mix, cool snack. My son loves the sweet and salty and I love that he gets some extra protein and "good bugs" in the yogurt. We also keep filtered water from the tap in steel bottles in the fridge for a quick cool-down before heading back to the pool or the vegetable garden.

Any combination of fresh fruit & veggies, a whole grain loaf of bread or crackers, and 2 or 3 cheeses makes for an amazing summer spread.

Love almonds, walnuts, trail mix in a small container add Tru Roots Organic Chia Seeds and Dates for extra fiber/protein. Drink with the Zico Natural Coconut Water for a great snack or lunch that requires little thought, space in the purse/backpack and no heating up of the house, office or outdoor space needed.

A quick go to recipe for me is pasta salad with frozen veggies and whatever dressing I have on hand. If I have cheese to add, even better! Frozen veggies are always on hand because they are easy snacks for my little ones. Kids love the pasta and even get their veggies with this quick side.

The best make ahead summer salad is a quinoa ( I like red, it adds beautiful color) with dark red kidney beans for hearty protein and roasted asparagus. Over this powerhouse trio of yum is a lemon vinaigrette consisting very simply of olive oil , lemon juice, salt & pepper. Top this with fresh basil sliced into tiny ribbons and it makes for a bright, summery healthy To go salad. Yum!

I love to use my green lentils, french lentils and red lentils to whip up a quick lentil soup. Kashi crackers and cheddar cheese serve as a great side, followed up with fresh fruit for dessert!
