I always keep bread mix in my pantry so I love to make a quick jam from fresh seasonal fruits and then make the bread up in the breadmaker and have fresh bread and jam! I also keep pasta in the pantry for a quick pasta salad with freash veggies and some pantry staples like olives and dressings.

Take a can of peaches from your pantry. Open can. Reserve liquid. Chop peaches into bite size. Put spoonful of peaches in each section of ice cube tray. Fill with reserved liquid. Freeze an hour or so until semi-firm. Insert craft stick into each cube. Freeze overnight. Makes lovely cold peach pop-sickles.
