I keep chicken stock and canned beans in my pantry. For a quick soup, I sauté kale or other dark leaf with garlic, pour in chicken stock with canned beans. My 4-year old loves it! And if I'm feeling extra zesty, I'll squeeze a little lemon juice after it cooks to brighten it up!

Our favorite snack from the pantry is homemade Chex Mix. We make it in the microwave so it's fast, doesn't heat up the house, and makes the house smell great for hours.
