My big ol' newfie/lab mix Baz LOVES tomatoes! When we had a garden we had to put a fence around it because he would go in and help himself to the grape tomatoes!

Our little Bichon comes running when he hears me making salad. He loves the ends that you normally cut off of the tomatoes and pickles or any other little bits from fruits or veggies I might be chopping up. :)

My dog, Hank, LOVES carrots. He goes crazy for them. He eats them about half way then launches them up in the air and plays with them...I find shredded carrots all over the house. A few more bites and as if to signal the carrot he has "won", he usually takes a nap on the last nibble of carrot. That's Hank.

All five of my cats LOVE lean turkey bacon. they know the sound of the package opening and even the outside of it. They're so bad with their addiction they'll literally try to take the meat right out of my mouth by lunging at my face each time i bring the fork near it!

Just started looking into treats for my brand new little puppy, Chloe Bella, a Yorkipoo. So far she is enjoying packaged 'training treats' - the only thing other than her dry food that I am giving her at this time. We go to puppy school once a week and our instructor gives her liver treats which she REALLY enjoys! I am very skeptical about what to give her for a treat - I am not certain about human food in their systems and want to investigate it's effect on their health. My last puppies,YOries, went nuts over eggs and chicken. I know at some point I will introduce her to bland chicken - I will probably need to when of if she becomes ill. I'm certainly open to suggestions - anything to keep this little one healthy if she enjoys it! Maybe she will become a fan of Whole Foods just like her Mom!

I make their own frosty paws! All the ingredients are organic and gluten-free that include bananas, honey (local), peanut butter, pumpkin, non-fat plain yogurt in an ice cream cone. I freeze it and serve.

My dogs all LOVE frozen strawberries (organic of course, because conventional strawberries are loaded with pesticides!), especially on a hot summer day!

I would say Barkwheats' Ginger & Parsley treats... they're the only pet products to carry the Fair Trade Certified™ logo, and while the dogs don't particularly care, I sure do. You can find them in select WFM in New England right now.

My dog loves dried sweet potatoes. This summer, her favorite treat is one that I make for her myself: I put some unsweetened applesauce, a banana, and some organic peanut in the blender, then freeze in ice cube trays. It's perfectly portioned and cold!

My two dogs love their Dogwsell Happy Hips chicken treats! I can give them the supplements their joints need and make them happy at the same time.. that makes me happy too! They run when they hear the package being opened. Now that's good ears and real motivation! s

My female dog loves blueberries! She takes them in her mouth and trots away to slowly nibble at them. My male really seems to love frozen green beans. They are a nice cool summer treat.
