We have two dogs, one eats anything you put in front of her and the other is a very picky eater..we say she has a refined palate ;) BUT, there is one thing that they agree on and it is PEANUT BUTTER!!! We usually put it on Whole Paws tiny bites biscuits, apples or celery but they would eat it off our finger if given the chance!!!

My Fynn's favorite treat are raw fresh marrow bones. Not too big, about 3" - 4". It's a long lasting treat that gets recycled many times. First he has a great time removing all the marrow and any meat pieces that are outside the bone, than when he is finished with it, which sometimes can take a day or 2, I'll disinfect it and put it in the dishwasher. We have a whole bunch of empty marrow bones now. We buy some organic hamburger meat and sometimes mash some steamed veggies through it and fill all the marrow bones and freeze them. Once a day he gets his frozen treat right from the freezer and it's his version of doggy popsicle. He goes crazy for it and it will take him at least 20 min. to half and hour to get everything out. He lies there with his eyes closed, paw wrapped around his marrow bone, enjoying quality time. ;-) We often try to freeze his filled Kongs as well but he does not like them as much as the marrow bones. And once he's finished with the bone we put it in the dishwasher again and t's ready for the next round. Besides hamburger meat I also fill it with other yummy stuff that he likes. He's a great fan of veggies and fruits so we often mash that with banana's of so. The important part is that it is frozen. Like a child he love popsicles ;-)

Both my 9 year old yellow Lab Ginger and my 3 year old Labradoodle Nouba loooove carrots or any veggies I chop up while preparing for dinner! The moment they hear the sound of a knife hitting against the chopping block, they run to the kitchen and sit quietly hoping for some veggie treats!!

Our new puppy does not have any favorite treats yet. We are still researching all of the healthy brands of dog food. We would be so fortunate to be able to try out some healthy treats for him!

My female dogs favorite treat would have to be chunks of cheese, when I bring in the groceries, she sits ever so patiently waiting for her chunk to suddenly appear on the floor beside her.......I don't give her a lot just enough to satisfy her, her favorite is mild chedder.

Our dog loves fruits and veggies (salad scraps) - her favorites are the stems of romaine (not the leaves) and the seedy core of the red peppers. She starts begging as soon as she hears the knife hit the cutting board. She also peels her own bananas and loves watermelon. Her favorite dog treat is freeze dried liver.

More than anything in the world, my dog loves frozen peanut butter in anything (a hollow bone, kong, etc). She gets excited whenever we open the freezer.

Our older cat has developed a taste for butter beans, which is pretty funny to watch! Our younger kitty, apparently the more "sophisticated" one, loves the pet gelato from Atlanta's Paolo's Gelato. The owner was a veterinarian in a previous career, so he specially formatted it for pets!

Harley, my 11 year old Pitt mix, loves a vanilla ice cream cone from the ice cream stand. When I take the kids to the stand, Harley-Boy comes, too! He sits patiently and licks his vanilla soft serve cone with such reverence. I a m just not sure if the love in his eyes is for me or for the ice cream.

My chihuahua loves baked sweet potatoes. And cheese, but it's rare that he gets to have that delicacy. When it comes to ready made doggie treats, he loves Wellness. After having a dog that passed away due to the chinese dog food poisoning, I am very picky about what this little guy eats. But due to a lot of research after losing Samson, I am now fully aware of what is good for Tanner. So he gets some pretty yummy stuff that I wouldn't have thought to feed a dog before.

My toy poodle loves asparagus so much that I bought her a bag of frozen asparagus on one of my Whole Foods trips! Now I microwave a little and add it to her bowl from time to time as a treat.

All three of my dogs LOVE freeze dried sweet potatoes! We buy the ones by Sams Yams & Grandma Lucy and it's hard to keep even my teenage sons out of the bags. They're yummy and so good for the dogs.

We have a brand new puppy. He's a Beagle/Australian Shepherd. We've only had him for about 10 days so we're not sure all that he likes for treats yet. I found some tiny little rawhide bones and he definitely likes to chew on those. I also thought about making some homemade treats with organic ingredients. Only the best for our new little guy!

I have two Foxhounds, Remington and Jackson, and their favorite is Newman's Own Organics Turkey and Sweet Potato dog treats. Remi practically does backflips and gobbles it down quickly. Jack will sit, shake, then take his treat back to his crate so Remi can't get it. They also like popcorn and dried chicken breast strips.

Maggie likes a lot of things, but I would say her favorite is probably Greenies. Though sometimes I have mixed peanut butter and water, then placed that in the freezer. Overall my dogs rarely get treats though, they are also both at their ideal weight.
