We have recently discovered the wonders of juicing fresh fruits and vegetables. Our favorite is orange juice with celery! A close second is carrot apple juice.

I love fresh, homemade lemonade more than any other juice. It is so refreshing. I like the low sugar or honey variety. Wholefoods has every item you need to make a great recipe. My grand-daughters always have a lemonade stand when they come to Manhattan Beach, CA.

I'm a big smoothie gal. Though I drink them all year long, nothing is better in the summer than a big green monster.

My favorite beverage for the summer months actually includes lemonade -- it's an Arnold Palmer. I'm a big tea drinker, and just adore the extra punch that the lemonade adds!

It may sound strange, but I love homemade chocolate milk: chocolate syrup and fresh cold milk on a hot summer night is delicious and refreshing. On a really hot night, you can add ice cubes.

My very favorite summer beverage is the santa cruz organic mango lemonade! It's so refreshing and tasty I feel like it's a special treat every time I get a glass and yet it's surprisingly affordable!

Squeeze and/or puree organic lemons (or oranges or pineapple or peaches or berries or anything else yummy in season -- you can also use a combination of these). Dilute with flavored or unflavored coconut water. Add a bit of agave syrup or honey to taste. Pour into tall glasses filled with FINELY CRUSHED ICE!!! Top off with a generous amount of Lakewood Organic tart cherry juice to add a beautiful summery color and good antioxidants; don't stir the cherry juice, let it blend in slowly like a sunset drink. Serve with fat straws and long spoons. This is a drink and dessert in one, and has lots of electrolytes and nutrients to keep young and old going strong or revive everyone at the end of a long, hot day.

My favorite tea all year round is Thai Tea. I purchase authentic Thai Tea, loose tea, from my favorite Thai Restaurant, who gives me an excellent price on it. I brew it, add ice to my cup a little half and half and I'm good to go!! My son on the other hand LOVES lemonade, so there is always a pitcher of lemonade in the fridge as well. Winning this would be incredible. Not only could he make his favorite beverage, he can make enough to set up a little stand and learn the value of making his own money! That would be such a plus. Thanks for the contest!

I LOVE lemonade year round--not just during the summer. When I have a cold I make hot lemonade with honey and cardamom. Recently, my appendix ruptured and had to take lots of serious and nasty antibiotics to get rid of the infections. This left me with Thrush and just about everything, , I tried to eat or drink, including plain water, tasted awful. Thankfully, I discovered I could still drink lemonade--which I did--lots of fresh lemonade.

My favorite summer beverage is Strawberry Banana Smoothie. (perfect if you already stock up berry from April Strawberry Sale @ WholeFoods) Tools Needed: blender. Ingredients: handful of frozen strawberries; 1 banana; 1 cup ice; splash of orange juice; 2tsp of truvia natural sweetener. Put all ingredients into the blender then mix until smooth. (If you don't have a blender, then forgo the banana, add more orange juice and sparkling water, then mix it with a spoon ^v^) I hope you enjoy this drink as much as I have.

Making fresh lemonade and ice tea is one of the best parts of summer. Fresh flavors, fruity tastes, are what makes summer family gatherings extra special. I like the best of both worlds with half ice tea (spearmint) and half lemonade and honey.

I make sun tea in a glass pitcher. My favorite is a combination of Chai and Peppermint. Usually in a 4/2 ratio. It's delicious, refreshing and it makes your friends wonder what your secret ingredient is.
