Using a Vitamix, my favorite drink is spinach (sometimes kale), tomatoes, carrot, jalopeno pepper, onion, salt and ice water. I like to drink it while I munch on a handful of corn chips on the side.

My favorite beverage for summer takes me back to my childhood in Florida. Freshly squeezed lemonade with a spoonful of honey mixed in. Of course now, I might add some basil leaves or add a splash of white wine to make a lemon sangria. Gotta love it!

Nothing like a "meltdown" when it's hot outside. Make frozen lemonade (or limeade) in a blender to the consistency of a smooth frozen maragarita, then pour into a chilled glass, and top it off with a shot of Chambord (or cherry juice for kids). Garnish with a big juicy strawberry on the edge of the glass. This will get your chill on, for sure!

I love Santa Cruz lemonade with fresh lemon slices in it over ice. Sometimes I add frozen berries and blend them together for a berry lemonade. I make frozen Popsicles out of their lemonade too! SO yummy! :)
