My favorite summer drink is a red wine sangria--made with a little seltzer water, some brandy, a tiny bit of sugar, and lots of fresh fruits like oranges, limes, apples, and berries!

We drink a lot of Ice Tea during the summer. The best way to make it is outside in the sun with a few mint leaves. Yum!

My daughter is going to be 10 years old soon and she has been asking me to build her a lemonade stand. I am going to buy the wood this week and build it for her, she is going to be so surprised. So now I have a challenge for myself to make the best lemonade ever!! I believe that I will make my lemonade with fresh lemons of course, with truvia and water. I am going to boil the water and then pour it over the lemons that are cut in halves, then add the truvia stir well and place in the refrigerator for about an hour. Then add some mint per glass or grenadine for pink lemonade. Wish me luck!!

I love to make up fruity ice cubes with fresh fruit & thier juices or herbs like mint and ginger to add to any glass of water to change up the flavor without extra sugar or too many calories. My children love it too as a fun twist and I get more real fruit in thier diet. Orange and gunger are great together!

My favorite summer drink is from when I was a child growing up on Long Island New York. My dad, who died when I was 13, used to make Homemade Lemonade for us! Dozens of lemons and lots of sugar....all I remember is the lemons in the huge stock pot filled with water. I dont know how he made it all I can remember is how it was the most refreshing and yummy tasting lemonade I have ever had. Even now as a Professional Chef....I cannot replicate Dad's lemonade! But its my June through August drink with lots of ice! ( sometimes I add some fresh herbs ( mint, basil or even lemon thyme ) from my herb garden. Adds a little somethin somethin!

This is tough but I like the simple sun tea with crushed iced and a "just picked" mint tea. No sugar. Just cold and graced with some mint. It's so good 'cause I made it myself and picking mint right on the spot makes the whole thing just right.

I make a homemade ginger ale iced tea. 1 whole ginger root-peeled and diced in 4 cups of water. Bring to boil shut off heat and let steep for 2-3 hours. Then brew your favorite tea with tea bags. Mix equal ammounts of the ginger tea with regular tea and add sweetener if desired. Add a slice of lime and top off with fizzy water or tonic. For the alcoholic version add a little lemon vodka!

My favorite summer beverage is either limeade or lemonade, made with about 12 lemons or limes, 2 cups of sugar and hot water. Once cooled, add ice and sprigs of mint. Very refreshing!

My favorite summer drink is a delicious concoction I came up with by mistake. My goal was to make the perfect glass of lemonade. I'd put all of the ingredients on my kitchen counter so as not to wreck my "flow" in crafting this "perfect" beverage. However, I was also watching Oprah at the same time. Add to that, I was peeling peaches in order to make a peach cobbler. Long story short, I squeezed the lemons into the pitcher, put the simple syrup in, put a few cut lemons in and added water. Whatever was happening on Oprah took me away for a moment. When I returned to lemonade making, I put some of the cut peaches in the lemonade. I mixed everything up along with ice and poured a glass. While I was expecting the lemoney taste I was accustomed, I was delighted to have a sort of peach-infused lemonade taste. This "mistake" had now produced my favorate summer beverage.

I live on iced coffee in the summer, but my favorite summer drink is really a frozen lemonade mixed with iced tea. A breakfast place near my old home sells it, but since I moved away a few years ago, it is special treat! =-)
