My favorite way to enjoy cherries are condensed in a nice marmelade, spread on top of a thin slice of whole grain toast for breakfast. Yummy!

I love cherries just as they are! One of my favorite snacks-- I'm always sad when cherries start to dwindle out of season.

I pick my own cherries (they are only available in the St. Louis area for one week of the summer), wash them, pit them and then make the most incredible farm fresh cherry pie. This year I made nine pies and had a fabulous cherry pie party. I can't get enough of those cherries!

I love black cherries right off the tree. Why mess with perfection? But if I can't get them that way, I love making cherry danishes.

I enjoy cherries the simple way: rinsed with cool water and eaten from a white porcelain bowl. Lately, I have eaten them with a glass of white wine on the side.
