Yum, yum, yum- we like cherries out of hand and just about any other way you can have them, but most recently I'm rather addicted to the chicken or turkey salad we've been making with cherries, celery, nuts &/or seeds (different every time) and putting them in wraps or on lightly toasted croissants with some organic baby spinach.

We enjoy cherries freshly picked, baked in cobbler/pie, and they also go great on a sundae. My daughter is 4, everytime we go to Dairy Queen, she requests a Jr. Vanilla cone with a cherry on top. lol. cweller75@gmail.com

I love to make cherry pies. I always add just a bit of almond flavoring. Bing cherries are my favorite to eat fresh. We used to go to the cherry orchards and pick tons of them.

I have been freezing cherries lately to add to my whole-fruit smoothies. A handful of frozen cherries, some frozen pineapple chunks and maybe a bit of orange juice - zapped in a blender for a bit = summertime, healthy deliciousness!

We eat cherries raw. Hopefully before the birds eat all of them from our tree :)

Cherries usually don't last long enough for me to bake anything out of them (I just eat them fresh!) but once I made a cherry rhubarb cobbler with a crumbly brown sugary top and it was probably the most delicious thing I've ever baked!
