Party time is always at its best when I have my family and friends with me. It doesn't really matter what the party is, as long as I'm having a great time with them.

Sweet Cajun Fire trail mix (from the bulk section). I think it's only available in the SW region, but it's delicious, addictive, and always a favorite.

I know it's retro, but deviled eggs are such a crowd pleaser. I never worry about mayonnaise in the heat because they're gone so fast!

Party time is cut up raw veggies with a dip. Chips with a cheese dip and then pretzels and a mustard sauce.

I think hand held desserts are a must - cookies, brownies, etc. The type of things you can grab as you walk by the table... And then grab another one when you walk back by 10 minutes later. :)

My boyfriend and I like to take a whirl at carving watermelon into different shapes and baskets. So far we've made a sea turtle and shark. It's so much fun to watch our guests reactions to the fun spin on such a delicious fruit!

I would love to win the party basket. My favorite great items from Whole Foods for a party include Back to Nature nuts with Tuscan spices, about seven wonderful kinds of olives from the olive bar, Cypress Grove goat cheese, Vermont Creamery cream fraiche to spread on those 2 for $5 Italian flatbreads that I cannot stop eating even when I have no guests!

Whole Foods custom made pizzas are always a favorite. Also, several different flavors of hummus with pita chips. The deli counter always has something tasty and the fruits are always so fresh. It is easy to find party fare at Whole Foods that fits any occasion. I've set out slices of the 'seduction bread' with cream cheese & jam nearby. The real challenge is limiting the choices!
