My devilled eggs are a pleaser. Baked brie in phylo dough, served with grapes, or just nachos, veggies and chips with hummus, etc.

I love themed parties, so the foods will vary. If it's a tea party, I may serve dainty biscuits, jam, and scones (with tea in cute teacups of course :)). If it's an Italian themed party, I love bruschetta, cheese plates, and olives!

Mash up some avocados, add diced tomato and onion, serve at room temperature immediately after making it and you will hear what I always hear..."This is the BEST guacamole I've EVER HAD!!!". Good with chips OR spread on flour tortillas and rolled up.

I love fruit kabobs at parties and/or petit fours!! yummm :)

Krystal says …

Gotta have seasoned mixed nuts, people will munch on them throughout the party. You can make sweet or salty varieties, my personal favorite is rosemary!

Tyesha says …

Frozen fruit kabobs with honey basil dipping sauce, apricot dipping sauce, and shredded coconut. These are very simple to make and great for all ages. Place your fresh fruit on skewers (whole strawberries, diced pineapple, and blueberries), any combination of fruit will do. Pop them in the freezer the night before the party. Serve them with any combination of dipping sauce. Its a cool treat for those hot summer days

Chips & salsa (here in Texas it's a must have)! If you're limited on time Whole Foods always has an amazing selection salsa, on the shelf and also in the prepared food section. If you have some extra time to make it yourself I have a really simple recipe: In a blender/food processor combine a 24oz can of whole tomatoes with a precooked jalapeno & medium onion halved (parboil them whole until soft for 10min) then add garlic, salt, and fresh cilantro. Tastes like Mexico! My favorite tortilla chips are el Milagro but if you can't find them in your location the Tia Rosa Megathin's are similar. Cheers!
