I'd share them with my mom in Chicago, to bring back memories of the yearly box of brightly-colored citrus fruits we'd get for the holidays.

Thank YOU for sharing! I just tried some at your store and they are delicious! I bought four and will be sharing them with my 2 year old daughter, Hope. I know she will love them but I'm just hoping she actually lets me have some after she tries them.

I would share them with a dear friend who has had a very difficult year and a very difficult life. This year, she lost her job after missing several months' work when her kidneys shut down. She was on dialysis for several months and is only now on the road to recovery, minus any prospect for future employment due both to her illness and her age. She is the kind of person who gave the shirt off her back when she herself had very little, though she has worked very hard her entire life. She is ashamed to be on food stamps for the first time in her life, and need I say how little quality food, much less treats like satsumas, she can afford with those? I know how much the gift of satsumas would mean to her, but she would be humiliated to know why they were given, so they would have to be sent as a 'prize won'. In this way, they would also provide her with the dignity of being able to have something in hand to give to her grandchildren when they visit her over the Christmas holidays. She has expressed how painful it is not to have anything to give for the first time. Of course I will help her, but a box of Satsumas in a drawing! Such good luck for the new year after such a bad one.

I would share them with the senior citizens at the local senior center. It's hard to make ends meet and fresh fruit is the first to be cut out. Everyone deserves a little delicious sunshine for the holidays.

Satsumas remind me of home -- New Orleans. My family would get them from Plaquemines Parish where they were grown. After Hurricane Katrina in 2005, we settled here in the Raleigh area and I know my other family members, who also haven't had Satsumas in a number of years, would enjoy them immensely! They're delicious and healthy!

I would love to share a box with my mother. We used to go out and try new restaurants and menu items that looked different or things we couldn't pronounce! She has since become home bound and we can't get out anymore. I miss that! So I would love to share a box with her since she has never tried them before! Thank you.

I would share them with my daughter. My daughter is 3 and has already had 2 baby teeth removed, survived chemo and radiation for retinoblastoma, a type of eye cancer, and had surgery to remove her right eye. She is a blessing to me every day and although we've never had satsumas before, both my daughter and i love fruits and veggies and i know she'd love these fruits as well.

I would share them with my students. Some of the students come to school without having breakfast... sometimes I leave fruit in a bowl on my desk for the kids. Many will eat healthy snacks given the opportunity. Great opportunity to try something new.

I would share those satsumas with my neighbor, who always remembers us when she goes shopping and brings us back some random fruits or veggies. She loves citrus fruit as much as we do--she would love a box of satsumas from Whole Foods.

I would like to share them with my Mom and Stepdad. They have helped me for the past 6 1/2 years raise my children. They have helped me battle drug addiction. They are loosing their house and declairing bankruptsy after my stepdad was just laid off. When others are enjoying their holiday we will be packing their home that they built 10 years ago.My dad is a registered Land Surveyor in Brevard County Florida and things are very tough right now for anyone in the trades as their is no building going on.
