I love the song Riu Chiu. Of all people, the Monkees did an a cappella version of it.

I like festive and lively Klezmer music. It is not Chrismasy and is more suitable for Chanukah, but it is music than everyone can love. It will have you tapping your toes and humming along.

My husband and I somehow ALWAYS seem to get out Miles Davis and Najee CDs and play them mixed in with our more traditional Christams music. There is something about the rawness of Miles blending with the almost airlike rush of Najee that just seems to blance it all out. Try it out and comment back with your thoughts. To ALL at Whole Foods...and Everywhere-have a blessed, beautiful, joyful and above all-Love filled holiday season! Jill Moore jilljam1988@hotmail.com

My favorite has got to be "The Christmas Song." Nothing like "Chestnuts roasting on an open fire and folks dressed up like Eskimos" to keep make your Christmas merry!

I would like to say my favorite non traditional Christmas song is a beautiful song in another language, but the Mariah Carey song "All I Want For Christmas Is You" gives me a rush of nostalgia. My closest high school friends and I used to cook a Christmas lunch together every year and it was always on the playlist. Although we have lived apart for several years and haven't always been able to continue the tradition, hearing that song always makes me smile and remember the fun!

My new favorite is Sting's "If On a Winter's Night...." It's traditional lullabies, carols and songs from the British Isles all tweaked with Sting's personal style. A beautiful and relaxing celebration of winter! Happy Holidays!

Love Putumayo and my kids do even more! While not International per-se; we enjoy Mele Kalikimaka. I was born in Hawaii and have been singing it since I was a wee one. Now my kids enjoy it. Love Putumayo's version of it on "A Family Christmas".

One of my favorite Christmas songs is "Burrito Sabanero" which was originally from a venezuelan kid called Ricardo Cueci. Here´s another version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BhUDmYmvlLQ&feature=related I find it to be really happy...it always makes me smile and it reminds me of the times when I was a little girl. I hope you like it. Happy holidays to everybody!!
