In my high school years, I was listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd, John Denver, Lee Greenwood, the Oakridge Boys, and of course disco was wildly popular.

I listened to The Police, a lot of the new wave 80s band that they used to play in the early days of MTV (Missing Persons, Depeche Mode, Thompson Twins, A Flock of Seagulls). I also liked classic rock from the 70s that reminded me of my youth.

I graduated in 2007. I remember listening to a lot of Linkin Park during my freshman year. Towards senior year I started to get into Weezer. I also developed a taste for Asian music, and even movie soundtracks.

I graduated in 1994. So we were just leaving behind all the one hit wonders of the 1980's and enjoying grunge hits from Nirvana and other cool bands like Soundgarden, the Cranberries and one of my favorites, Green Day. Doesn't mean we didn't have our own one hit wonders. I do remember Ace of Base's "The Sign" being played on the radio about every 3 seconds. ;)

Lots of Nirvana, Counting Crows, Sheryl Crow, KISS, Tom Petty, any 80s glam rock and stuff before my time like Hendrix, Joplin and The Zombies. And I'm a sucker for country music...old and new alike...George Strait, Johnny Cash, Steve Earle.

I was totally a soft rock kind of girl in the late 70's/early 80's...James Taylor, Judy Collins, Carpenters, Little River Band, CSNY (or whatever incarnation they were in at any given time). But there were some great Pat Benatar, Cars and REO Speedwagon moments, too! And I still have a huge crush on Rick Springfield!

Hmmm, let's see... Weezer, Cake, The Cranberries, Lauryn Hill, so many more... but if I had to pick one that brings me back to high school every time, it'd have to be Red Hot Chili Peppers' Californication album - when I hear it, I always remember a trip to a lake I took with some friends, and how it was playing during our drive through the woods.
