Wow, this took me down memory lane. I was listening to Jim Croce, Carole King, John Denver, the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Harry Chapin, Deep Purple, Linda Ronstadt, the Bee Gees, Barry Manilow, Hall and Oates, and Led Zeppelin. Then again, there was also Benjamin Britten, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Aaron Copland, Mozart, Bach, Prokofiev, Tschaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, music from A Chorus Line, Rogers and Hammerstein, Duke Ellington, and Ella Fitzgerald.

I was listening to "Every breath you take"! I had the Police Synchronicity "cassette" (way back then!) memorized. Those songs are such classics, I have my middle schooler hooked on the same stuff! Great great music!

In high school i went through a punk/ emo stage with music. I was a blink 182, dashboard confessionals fan... i've grown up a bit since and giggle about high school when i hear old tunes from blink 182. Still love dashboard confessionls, but i appreciate dave mathews and jack johnson music more now.
