I grew up listening to Beach Boys and Motown, older siblings influenced those choices. In High School, I discovered Donna Summer and the Bee Gees!!! Disco was it for me!! I used to go with my best friend to a disco in Santa Barbara on Saturday afternoons, when they would have 18 and under dancing. We would shred on the dance floor, partner disco dancing and really feeling like we were somethin' else! I still stop to listen whenever I hear the tunes that remind me of those days. Good times!!

I listened to alot of Uriah Heep, Golden Earring, Foghat, Deep Purple, Montrose, Lou Reed, Iggy and the Stooges, Slade, Rod Stewart and the Faces, (The stuff Rod did with Ron Wood and the other guys in the Faces was outstanding material), Alex Harvey, Hawkwind... I could go on but I'll stop there.

As a "60's" child, Motown was King! I couldn't wait for a new release from Marvin Gaye, The Supremes, The Four Tops and Smokey Robinson and the Miracles. This iconic music lives on today as some of the best music produced and recorded. Many artists have come and gone but this music stands the test of time. I am so glad I grew up in this era and still listen to this music today! Rock on!

Oh my gosh, I listened to all of this kind of music!! I grew up in Erie, MI, a little farming community. We listened to CKLW from the Motor City, 104.7 out of Toledo when it first came out, and there was also a station in Ann Arbor MI, I can't remember those call letters but there was a deep raspy male voice that always said BAAAAABY, lol!! We listened to everything from Motown to Classic Rock, soft rock and more. Thanks for the flashback!!!!

John Denver, I was a freak for his music! Knew all the lyrics, named my cat Aspen, my dog Denver, and my fish Annie. I was a fan of the bowl haircut, went to college to be a forest ranger - his influence was huge during that period of my life. My Sweet Lady was sung at my wedding, August 19, 1978. If only I had had an IPOD back then....John Denver, his music was so refreshing, his words so real, when listening to his albums (and I had them all-still do), it felt like a true Rocky Mountain High! Now my granddaughter loves listening to "Grandma's Feather Bed!" Priceless.
