One Dime at a Time Fundraiser for Amanda Strong Food for the Needy
Tuesday, October 1st
8:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Whole Foods Market Carmel

One Dime at a Time Fundraiser: Bring your own bags and donate the bag credit! This program provides an incentive to reuse grocery bags and develop stronger communities. At the register, you have the option to receive a 10¢ per reusable bag refund, or you can choose to donate your refund to that month’s selected local non-profit organization.

The two Indiana stores are delighted to support October, November & December’s recipient: Amanda Strong Food for the Needy (ASFN). Started out of Amanda Strong’s garage in 1980, the organization has grown and her legacy lives on as ASFN serves over 300 families each holiday season! This all-volunteer organization prepares holiday gift bags for local families that include perishable foods as well as clothes & toys for over 600 local children in need. ASFN is funded solely by donations with 100% going towards the cause (no money used for administrative costs). Adopt a family or get involved at amandastrong.org.
