Danila learned cooking at an early age by watching her mother Lucia prepare daily meals. She eventually went to work at the Rigoletto Restaurant under the great Chef Riccardo Tedde.

Danila's food is prepared with amore, with the warmth of the Italian heart and spirit to bring the absolute best in Italian cuisine!

Miso Soup is a traditional Japanese soup consisting of a stock called "dashi" into which softened miso paste is mixed. Many ingredients are added depending on regional and seasonal recipes, and personal preference.

Learn to make flavorful Miso Soup with our Guest Chef Yun Hwang. She will demonstrate easy techniques for preparing this traditional recipe that's perfect for Fall.

Yun has a degree in Culinary Management and is a certified Korean raw food instructor. She teaches raw living food cooking classes in Korea.

About Julie:
Her fondest food memories are from hanging out in Chicago or home at the kitchen table watching, smelling and tasting. Her grandfather was a Pullman porter and cook on the trains until he opened his dental practice. Her grandfather inspires many of her recipes. Her grandfather’s sweet potato biscuits have been recreated as gluten-free goodness.

Julie has a B.S. in Mathematics from Spelman College and a Master’s in Public Policy from University of Southern California.
