September Scott, creator of Kimochis, will be at our store featuring her toys with feelings and tell a story designed for young children. Kimochi means feeling in Japanese. Kimochis® are small pillows with a feeling (happy, sad, silly, brave…) printed on one side, and a corresponding facial expression on the other that are sold in our Whole Body department. www.kimochis.com

Not quite in the holiday spirit yet? This mini concert will get you in the mood. Under the direction of Jennifer Burkemper, HCHS’s highly select vocal a cappella ensemble performs in the fall and winter throughout the community. This is an amazing concert so don’t miss our local talent starting at noon.

There will be goodies to eat while you enjoy the music.

We’re excited to have Santa (Chuck) stop by our store on the way to the North Pole to find out what your children want this year for Christmas. There will be cookies and hot chocolate so bring the kids and the camera.

Decorating a Gingerbread House is a holiday tradition. Purchase a Gingerbread House from our Bakery and we’ll provide all the trimmings. Bring the kids to the café to decorate their assembled house to place on your holiday table.

The holiday dilemma…what do you give the family member who has everything? A VitaMix! The amazing VitaMix demonstrator will be here to show you how to prepare everything from soup to frozen yogurt in just a few minutes. There will be delicious samples every few minutes so stop by our Produce department.

Taste a selection from our Holiday Menu, sip wine, eat cookies, and do a little holiday shopping. Our Holiday Table awaits you. Fa-la-la!

A fresh crab tasting, are we kidding? No! We’ll have plenty of fabulous fresh crab for you to taste and purchase. Our Seafood department will be cracking their seasonal, specially priced crab. ‘Tis the season to be jolly.

Our departments will feature holiday items for your Christmas dinner and entertaining needs so eat your way through the store. We’ll be sampling some special wines from our vendors so don’t forget to bring a bottle of wine to your holiday parties. There will be special holiday music by the Steve Cooper Band.

Brie Bash 

Brie is the perfect appetizer for your holiday gatherings. Demo Deanna and Anne in Marketing will show you a variety of easy ways to make your Brie festive and delicious by sampling our Brie with toppings.
