Warm the holidays with the perfect at home feast! Thanksgiving with the family, is an in depth class on the first half of holiday entertaining, here we will come close to making the perfect thanksgiving feast with helpful tips on roasting, the perfect side dishes and garnishing. On the menu: cranberry spiced chutney, green bean casserole, and roasted turkey pan gravy.
Ever wonder what to do with all of those hearty greens in the store? Here we will talk Kale - It is so wholesome, so delicious and has endless limits to what it can do! This class is all about Kale _ it covers the types of kales, and greens through the season. Little Turkey KIDS CLUB! Thursday November 15th @ 4:00pm - Interactive little turkey's will help to assemble yummy wholesome turkey pot pie, decorating it with peas, carrots, and squash or they can get crafty and make their very own corn collage! Specialty Department guest tasting with Fair Spirits featuring Fair Vodka- Monday, November 19th 3-7pm in the Specialty Wine Department.
This fair-trade vodka is the first and only quinoa-based liquor. The Fair Trade Spirits Company works directly with communities of small independent farmers who transmit their land from generation to generation. Each farmer owns an average 1 hectare of land. Their crops are gathered within the cooperative and they are guaranteed a fair price for their work. It also tastes good and was voted the best tasting vodka at the New York Spirits Awards in June 2009 and won the Gold Medal with 93 points at the Chicago Beverage Institute in November 2009.
