While honey is great stuff, and there are amazing connections between honeybees' making of honey and the health of our own diets, it turns out that they (and other pollinators) are one of our powerful connections to the overall health of our greenspaces and our environment. Come learn a little about how honeybees work, about how they contribute to your diet, some cool and healthy culinary and medicinal uses of honey and hive products, and how urban beekeepers seek to support bees so they can support the environment shared by all the living things around us.
