An art form in its native Japan, it takes many years of schooling and diligent apprenticeship to become a certified sushi chef. But that doesn’t mean you can’t learn the basics of the craft for your own enjoyment. Let us show you the ins and outs of preparing a stunning sushi dinner, and impress friends and family with your newfound culinary skills.

On the Menu: Gunkan Rolls with Shrimp and Wasabi Mayonnaise; Inside-Out California Rolls; Smoked Salmon and Avocado Hand Rolls. Sushi served with Homemade Miso Soup.

Little hands are kept busy creating healthful snacks using fresh, wholesome ingredients while also practicing other age-appropriate developmental skills. Holy Guacamole!

Guacamole may have roots that date all the way back to the Aztecs, but modern-day versions have come a long way from simply mashing up avocados with chiles in a molcajete. In tonight’s class, we’ll hone our knife skills and take this beloved party food to new heights as we chop, dice, and mince our way to creating a variety of guacamoles with tasty and surprising twists. We’ll wrap up by making fresh fish tacos with all the trimmings. We are happy to accommodate vegetarians/vegans with advanced notice.

On the Menu: “Guacamole Buffet” (Traditional Guacamole Base with Selection of Add-Ons); Classic Pico de Gallo; Mexican Cabbage Slaw; White Sauce; Pan-Fried Fish Tacos.
