Join us for our Kids Culinary Class where little chefs will be invited to help prepare Veggication Program recipes and sample their healthy treats. Parents will receive a copy of Veggiecation recipes created that day. Kids will leave with coloring pages, stickers and a new love for veggies!
The Veggiecation Program provides nutrition education for children by turning vegetables into exciting foods, experiences and activities. Elementary school aged children will have the opportunity to help make two delicious dishes. Space is limited.

May promotes and practices non-processed cooking methods and introduces fresh and wholesome ingredients in your everyday cooking. In this session you will get to know your basic spices for preparing Indian food and May will make you feel comfortable making these authentic dishes in your own kitchen. These recipes are fit for an everyday meal or a special occasion.

We recycle (more than just paper), we care about how animals are treated, we’re committed to a SUSTAINABLE future, and we care about our COMMUNITY and our planet.
On Saturday, April 20 demo stations around the store will sample some of our local and sustainable products while talking about our programs and quality standards. Kids Earth day crafts will be held in the café and at 2:00pm come by the café as we announce the WINNERS of our 2013 EARTH DAY POSTER CONTEST!
Whole Foods Market Rose City Madison invites all 5-13 year olds in the community to join us in celebrating Earth Day 2013 by competing in our Earthling Poster Contest!
Judges will select a 1st place winner from each age group: Age 5-7 | Age 8-10 | Age 11-13.
Winners will be invited to receive their awards at our Earth Month Bash at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 20!
Who? Any child between the ages of 5-13 is eligible to participate. One student name per poster please.

Where? Submitted posters will be displayed (anonymously) in our Cafe leading up to the Awards Ceremony on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 2:00 pm when the Winners of the Earthling Earth Day Poster Contest will be honored as part of our Earth Month Bash! All of the excitement takes place in our Café.
When? All original entries must be received by Whole Foods Market Madison Customer Service by Monday, April 15, 2013. Judging and the announcement of the winners will take place during the Award Ceremony on Saturday April 20, 2013 at 2:00 pm during our Earth Month Bash.
Prize: One prize will be given out to the winner of each age bracket. The winning posters will be kept on display in the Whole Foods Market Madison Cafe with the winner’s name and age next to the poster.
Poster size is typically 11” x 17”. Posters can be full color or black and white, and made with crayon, colored pencil, watercolor, pen, marker, or paint.
