Looking for a way for your group or organization to learn and have fun? Come on in for a guided tour!
Our tours are designed be accessible and convenient—you can see what’s in store for you at your own pace on weekdays at your convenience. We provide the tools you need to learn about food and nutrition, earth-friendly practices, what’s unique about Whole Foods Market and our Square One location, and more!
For optimum experience for participants, we require one adult for every four students or children in your group. Please note that each group is responsible for their own participants during your visit, including: 1) managing any waiver or permission forms required by your organization, 2) monitoring your participants for safe, responsible and respectful behavior, and 3) assuring safe sampling for anyone with food allergies or sensitivities.
Since our facility is not dedicated allergen-free, we cannot guarantee against cross-contamination of our bulk food, samples, hot bars, salad bars, or food prepared in our kitchens. Please advise us of any food allergies and allowable packaged snacks well in advance, and we’ll do our best to suggest alternatives.
As always, our Team Members do their best to be available for your questions and may have samples to offer. We hope you’ll have fun! Tours usually take about 45 minutes.

Description: Kyunga was brought up with her mom’s homemade cooking back in Seoul, Korea. Unfortunately her mom passed away during her teenage years, but Kyunga’s mom’s dishes are still very much alive. She shares her recipes and cooking with friends and family. During her class, along with making various Korean dishes, she will show you the secret ingredients that make up the sweetness of the Bulgogi marinade sauce and a delicious Korean pancake that is both great for an appetizer or main course.

Minh loves cooking for her family and friends. Raised in Ho-Chi Minh City during the Communist Party ruling, she will tell you that Southern Vietnamese cuisine is very “delicate” compared to the more starchy dishes from the North. During her class you will learn about how to make lemongrass pork chops, flavor combinations of a dish as well as how to make an authentically beautiful fresh shrimp rolls.

After enduring the Bosnian war, Aleks moved to Canada with her family. Aleks shares her culture here by making delicious food from family recipes. During her class, you will learn the personal techniques to make her delicious pastry dishes such as the burek & apple strudels.

Lizka is from Panama City, and married into a Mexican family. Lizka believes in bringing out all the flavours and fragrance of the ingredients when she cooks. Along with showcasing empanadas, Lizka will also show you how to transform green plantains into a delicious appetizer and side dish. The meal will be finished off with a melt-in-your-mouth flan. Yum.
