Be a part of history and join us in our annual celebration of Parmigiano Reggiano! Whole Foods Market stores will attempt to “crack” the Guinness World Records® title for the number of wheels of Parmigiano Reggiano simultaneously cracked in its stores across the country and in the U.K. and Canada.
Join us at 12pm sharp to be a part of the action and get fresh parm samples! We'll watch a representative from our store try to crack the wheel faster than a representative from Whole Foods Market Sherman Oaks West. It's the battle for the best side of the 405 Freeway!
Join Whole Foods Market Woodland Hills for our Community Support Day scheduled for Wednesday, March 20, 2013! On this day, the store will donate five percent of all sales to the Boys & Girls Club of the West Valley to help middle- and high-school students prepare for college through the Club’s College Bound Program.
The Boys & Girls Club of the West Valley was founded in 1992 as a response to the local need for safe, healthy, productive activities for youths during non-school hours. There are more than 3,400 members of the Club. Approximately 150 children visit the Main Clubhouse in Canoga Park each day in addition to more than 550 children engaged in after-school activities at the Club’s nine school sites: Blythe, Reseda, Cantara Street, and Topeka Drive Elementary Schools; Hale Charter Academy Middle School; Canoga Park, Chatsworth, and Cleveland High Schools; and the affordable housing community of Tierra del Sol.
The Boys & Girls Club of the West Valley is located at 7245 Remmet Ave., Canoga Park, CA 91303. Telephone is 818-610-1054. The Club’s website is wvbgc.org. Facebook: www.facebook.com/wvbgc.
