Learn the importance of eating a rainbow in the first class of this new kids-cooking series! Young chefs will learn basic cooking skills and new ways to make healthy food choices while preparing yummy snacks. Multiple snacks are included in each class for participants to enjoy! Health Yeah!: Healthy Eating Challenge and Weekly Meet-up Support

Weekly, February 4th – 25th 

          In January, many of us make resolutions to adopt a healthier lifestyle. Extra fruits and vegetables work their way into shopping cards and just about everyone is talking about their health goals. Then by February, processed foods start edging out the fresh produce and all of a sudden the pizza delivery guy is ringing your no-carb-neighbor’s doorbell! Hey, it happens to the best of us.

For those who have been successful, the secret isn’t always a complete a radical overhaul – instead, they focus on just a few simple changes that can really add up over time. With that approach in mind we’re asking you to join Whole Foods Market’s healthy eating challenge, Health Yeah!! Each Monday we will focus on a new, week-long mission. Every Wednesday we will host a meet-up at our store to support you in accomplishing the mission and reward success. On Fridays we will sponsor fun (optional) group fitness activities! 

Week-long Health Yeah Missions

  • Week 1 Mission: Eat a whole grain breakfast or eat veggies for breakfast (Meet-up, February 4th)
  • Week 2 Mission: Swap a serving of sugar for a fruit sweetener (Meet-up, February 11th)
  • Week 3 Mission: Sauté or caramelize veggies without oil (Meet-up, February 18th)
  • Week 4 Mission: Eat a 100% plant-based meal every day (Meet-up, February 25th)
