The Wolf Café Hosts a 10% Day for Whole Planet Foundation

Please join us as at the Wolf Café at 15480 Clayton Rd. (636.527.7027) in Ballwin just down the street from our store (http://thewolfstl.com/) for a 10% Day for the Whole Planet Foundation. Owners Bob and Denise Biribin have graciously offered to donate 10% of sales from the entire day to the Whole Planet Foundation. Billed as West St. Louis County's sustainable coffee, cafe and music venue, the Wolf Café provides a rustic and active lifestyle community atmosphere, artisan coffee, fresh and local foods, craft beer, wine and live acoustic music. Please support the Wolf Café’s initiative to help our store reach our donation goal for the Whole Planet Foundation to alleviate poverty through microcredit in communities around the world that supply Whole Foods Market stores with products. Grab a cup of coffee, a beer, a glass of wine or relax and enjoy a meal at the Wolf Café to help support this amazing Foundation.

second friday notes is a literary series that takes place on the second Friday evening of every month in our café. The hour-and-a-half show features two or more poets and one musical performer or group. March poets are Eamonn and Drucilla Wall. Music is by the “urban tribal fusion” of Raw Earth, eclectic world percussion that is a mix of classic middle eastern influences with a blend of west and north African rhythms, wrapped in Celtic, Delta and Americana to create a sound they call "Casbah. St. Louis poet, Dwight Bitikofer is the emcee for the event, which is co-sponsored by the St. Louis Poetry Center. Dwight Bitikofer can be reached at bitikofer@timesnewspapers.com for more information.
