365 Everyday Value Tuna comes from two warm water regions, the Indian and South China Seas. Specifically, the tongol tuna comes from the South China Sea near Malaysia, and the albacore tuna comes from the Indian Ocean.

Is 365 Everyday Value Tuna dolphin safe?

Yes. 365 Everyday Value Tongol and Albacore Tuna is sourced because neither of these species school with dolphins, and strict regulations are currently in effect to protect dolphins. By restricting our fisheries to these two tuna species, we are ensuring the continued safety of dolphins.

Do you test 365 Everyday Value Tuna for mercury?

Yes. Each load of fish is tested when it arrives at the cannery. Fish that exceed levels set by the government are rejected. We also do random tests on each lot of canned product. The government considers tuna safe if it has up to 1ppm (part per million) of mercury.
