Classic Cranberry Sauce

Makes about 2 cups

You'll love this easy version of classic cranberry sauce made from scratch.

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 (12-ounce) package fresh or frozen cranberries

Combine sugar and 1 cup water in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil and add cranberries. Return to a boil. Reduce heat and boil gently 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cover and cool completely at room temperature. Refrigerate until serving time.
