Disguised as little presents, these do-it-yourself popcorn gifts are flavored with dried onions. At home, all the recipients will need is a little oil for popping.
Ingredients: 
  • 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic granules
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon dehydrated onion
  • Canola oil, for popping (not included)

Method: 
To prepare packets: Put popcorn kernels and salt in a small, resealable plastic bag. Put remaining dry ingredients in a second small, resealable plastic bag. Wrap both up in parchment or waxed paper like a present. Print out instructions (see below) and attach with twine, tying each package closed.
