Arlington's 5% Community Giving Day

At Whole Foods Market, we are active participants in our community.  We are extremely proud of our community involvement and the relationships we continue to make each quarter.  We strive to make a difference.

Our Community 5% Days are one meaningful way we give back to our community.  On designated days each quarter, a total of 5% of the day’s net sales are donated to local non-profit organizations.  Guests help support selected organizations just by shopping on these 5% Days.

Feed 4 More:

In November 2013, Whole Foods Market Arlington lauched a new way to raise food for the Tarrant Area Food Bank. Food packages for breakfast, lunch and dinner were assigned a dollar amount, and our guests and team members stepped up to the plate and raised $38,443.30!  This was more than any store in the Metroplex.

Then during the second and third weeks of December 2013, our Giving Tree continued raising funds for the Tarrant Area Food Bank in the amount of $8,970.77, making our store's combined total $47,414.07

Annual Giving Tree:

We are proud to announce our December 2012, month-long Giving Tree raised $15,907 for the Tarrant Area Food Bank - the equivalent of enough food to provide 79,539 meals!  Together we raised $7,725 more than our 2011 Giving Tree of $8,182.  We are grateful to each shopper for their contributions.
